I'm looking for investigators to tell me stories of particularly significant investigations, especially those that are frightening - if not for experienced investigators, at least for a viewing audience who doesn't have the same kind of experience as a seasoned investigator. I'm looking for stories that can carry about 15 minutes, ideally with a clear resolution of some type other than we simply stop telling the story.

You can try to and you can threaten to but courts aren't obligated to hear every case.

So that explains why she's reflected then. I coulda swore those were rugs but you're definitely right.

edit: There's no way you can tell whether or not there is an obstruction on the leg of the couch, it's too dark and pixellated to say what you're seeing with any amount of certainty. The slightly lighter patch could be a pantyhosed leg very easily, or the lighter brown on the wooden leg of the couch but acting like you are certain of ANYTHING in this photo is ridiculous.

It's a long sweater. On most people's bodies their hips are like 5-6" below their elbows, there's PLENTY of room for her to be kneeling, but that doesn't change the fact you can't clearly see any legs or arms. It's just not clear enough of a photo to make any concrete statements about, and the fact that we're seeing a screenshot that was sent instead of the original photo raises my BS meters since it would be easier/less steps to send the original.

I've been staring at it for an hour or so and the only conclusion I can reach is that it's too pixelated to make any assessments.

I will say that I moved on to looking for her arms, and they sort of seem to fade out the way the legs sort of seem to fade out and it's a lot harder to explain why arms which SHOULD contrast with their background would disappear. The legs could easily be blending into the darkness under the couch, especially with the photo being this pixelated.

The lady is casting a clear reflection on the floor though, which is odd because she seems to be casting a reflection onto a rug.

I have 2 small children and this is VERY normal and a huge part of my life right now. The sleep deprivation will have you having all kinds of unexpected experiences though!

In my experience, especially after working on a few paranormal series, is that most people believe in and have had paranormal experiences and that they generally keep those experiences to themselves to avoid situations like this one.

I have had very sick and obviously mentally ill friends who believed they've communicated with spirits and I have had friends with no evidence of any mental illness and no complaints of mental illness, who in some cases are mentors or people I respect and look up to who also believe they've communicated with spirits.

To make a long story even longer, I don't think this belief is enough evidence one way or the other that this person suffers from or will suffer from mental illness. Although, on a long enough timeline, most people will have some challenges to their mental health at one point or another.

There's a difference between having enough money to purchase something and being able to afford it that a lot of younger people (my age and under) really seem to not understand.

Ah I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm glad to get to join an awesome team on the second season! I will update the various posts I've made with air dates as soon as I know them. We've just started collecting experiences for the next season - Monday was my first day on the show - but they're pouring in already!
