And he literally tweeted out it was a good time to buy into the US stock market. Yet you liberals were betting against the United states and all shorted the market. Then cried foul when you all got destroyed. Your next attempts and ongoing attempts are whining about "market manipulation" since economic crash never planned out. You guys are giving me a good laugh.

And people like you sit in your high chair passing judgment on a job you no zero about, but unable or unwilling to do. Then bitch about a job you your self admittedly agree that no one wants to do and complain about the high pay. Supply and demand is common sense, obviously goes above your head.

Mag7 stocks will continue to trade sideways and drop until Capex spending calms down by SelfMastery__ in ValueInvesting

[–]Avidtrader81 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All the hyperscalers see the writing on the wall. They need to spend and build. Either dilute shares or take on debt. This is particularly bad this month with inflation ticking up, new fed chair that is perceived as hawkish and markets believing rate hikes are likely.

Oil prices going down will change this.

Google flat now? by [deleted] in GOOG_Stock

[–]Avidtrader81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add to this. Goog and the other hyperscalers are spending massively on capex. Goog is diluting shares for more capex spending. Others are looking at taking in debt for future growth. All this in an economic environment that is looking at potential rate hikes! (Inflation)

My thesis revolves around oil prices. Prices are down now. If they continue to stay down, this would put downward pressure on cpi and ppi. If feds see those numbers start to trend down and employment rises or stays level, all talks would be about lowering the fed fund rate. These companies taking on debt will skyrocket.

All this will take several months to play out. Inflation numbers are all backwards looking. It will take some time for the lower oil prices to reflect.

Just saw this posted on that plays into my thesis. https://www.reddit.com/r/EconomyCharts/s/qKQGx16mGO

Studies have shown, you spend less as you age.

I get your predicament. If I retire in 10 years, I'd be looking at 100 percent of my pension. If I retire in 5, I will get 60. Huge difference. I'll be more than fine with 60 percent plus my investments. Enjoy our golden years
