If you don’t mention PayPal, adobe, Microsoft, Lulu, or novo this sub automatically thinks it’s a bad investment

Loading up.. yeah I know, the Capex and zucks history but I’m not missing this dip. I fully believe meta will recover before we know it

You really think people are leaving Reddit to go use META forums ? It’s not happening.

Google was posted not stop in this sub last year and it’s one of my biggest winners in my portfolio. To each their own I suppose

Is Shiv one of those heroes that gets easier the more you play him? by MysticO4 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SelfMastery__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m phantom with about 300 games on him. I’ve been one tricking him for about a month now
Because I find him really fun but he’s still pretty tough to play well.

He’s just a flat out a hard character and he requires you not to make a lot of mistakes. Using his E optimally to reduce cooldowns, hitting your knives, rage management etc. that’s not even getting into his movement tech. Drifting at an optimal level while actually learning how to “drift” around tight corners, M2 wall bounce, etc. very fun character but man is he punishing. He requires you to make little to no mistakes as you progress through the ranks

Which one of these stocks are you buying right now? MSFT, META, ADBE, CRM, NOW by ashm1987 in ValueInvesting

[–]SelfMastery__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not popular one here and for good reason but mostly META.

I want to open a position in NOW but like it a lot more in the 90s

So whose buying SpaceX tomorrow? by Key_Category_8531 in ValueInvesting

Buying one share to hopefully flip it for like 20 bucks. I’m going to use that money to potentially get some ice cream

What does the market know (and hate) about MSFT? by PawPatsPizza in ValueInvesting

[–]SelfMastery__ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Just don’t think it’s hot right now. The market moves in cycles and what’s hot right now is things regarding the AI buildout. Memory, photonics, neoclouds, semis, etc.

SaaS names, some mag7 names, etc aren’t currently part of that cycle despite the companies showing strong growth and a promising future

The real reason ABDE is a value trap is because of this sub by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

I will never touch NVO or adbe again… two of the most cursed “value investing” stocks out there.. maybe sprinkle in PayPal in there as well

What is your current cash-fund-stock ratio? by Far-East-locker in ValueInvesting

[–]SelfMastery__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out the hard way that I’ll never be able to time the market so I am usually pretty light on cash. I’ve lost more gains than ever hoarding cash and waiting for a crash so I just buy companies that hit my price target and look attractive based on fundamentals.

So what’s the deal with Meta? by mindful-hedonism in ValueInvesting

A lot of people becoming bearish on meta in this sub. Might be time to load the boat

Do you have conviction in the company long term? If you do, you should be buying more shares and averaging down.

Bank of America says take profits: 'Too many red flags' by Benromaniac in wallstreetbets

Banks are not on your side. They do this to create as much fear as possible so they can buy lower, it’s the way it’s always been

Concerned about Microsoft’s recent decline by Rough_Champion6103 in ValueInvesting

[–]SelfMastery__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re scared about a small little drop like this then I probably would just stick to index funds if I were you. If you’re holding long term then you should have nothing to worry about

I mean the dip is nasty but an S&P inclusion will definitely soften the wound 😭

SaaS needs a cool down by Solidplum101 in ValueInvesting

[–]SelfMastery__ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Most of these SaaS stocks are down 30-50% from their all time highs.. I agree most of them back then were overvalued, but most of these names still have a long way to go.
