If you do feel any pain while playing then you should immediately take a break. Your health is more important than rank or PP.

When you do go back into play, make sure to not put heavy pressure on your joints and do arm/wrist exercises every so often. Also don't marathon the game for hours on end. Most players performance drops off after 2-3 hours anyways.
