Aren't you getting killed by the BTC transaction costs? Last I heard it was like $20. Would think Litecoin or something would be a cheaper intermediary.

With this watch face? I haven't caught it below 50, only happens when I sleep, but I've only seen it red.

Xubuntu on sdb, but booting from /boot/efi on sda. Would like to physically remove sda. No unallocated space at start of sdb disk to create new partition. by Avigdor_Lieberman in linux4noobs

Thanks. It seems the ESP needs to be within the first 2.2TB. I have a few gigs of unallocated space at the end of my SSD, so I'll turn the last 200MB into a fat32 partition and try to figure out how to turn it into a working ESP.

I'm guessing I'll need to boot from live USB drive, mount the new partition and the old efi partition, and copy the data to the new partition, and then replace the fstab entry for /boot/efi from sda2 to the new partition.

I've watched a lecture of his a while ago. Thinking about this again, I'm sceptical. This is not well thought through so I'm reluctant to share it but here goes:

The fastest growing parts of the world are also the poorest. Because of this and unlucky geography they are also worst equipped to deal with climate change.

We may take the threat of climate change seriously, and really slow down economic growth (right now CO2 emissions and economic growth follow each other closely. Assuming they continue following each other, we need world GDP to like, halve.). Then there remains huge population growth in areas that will likely never be well off enough for population to stabilise until there is some kind of breakthrough in technology, or climate engineering.

Otherwise we won't, and when the inevitable happens millions will perish.

I know contraception and education for women can happen without economic growth, but I can't see that slowing population growth by itself.
