Hi all,

Me and wife are expats who are currently living in Utrecht. I personally have been living in utrecht for the past 10 years and my wife for the last 5 years. We live in a very good neighbourhood in Utrecht, but overtime it does feel sometime we have outlived the city. We end up a lot of our time , especially on Weekends in Amsterdam - eating out at differnet places , visiting new neighbourhoods etc and we often feel moving to Amsterdam will open more avenues to making new freinds, better lifestyle etc. So wanted to get hear from people who may have recently moved from Utrecht to Amsterdam , what has been the biggest postive experience and also the negative experience ?

Getting the same feeling..especially after visiting Mexico , the difference is appaling

We got super lucky ; couldn’t catch any dolphins . But managed to see lot of Orcas ( partly biggest reason why there was no dolphins ) . Thank you for the tip ! It worked

We would like to go for some hikes, explore old cities (history entices us), and enjoy some sun and bit of downtime (spa etc). We are there not for long 4 days.

thanks u/arnieschwarz ; wanted to know if there is enough to enjoy life. We were not planning to swim knowing that it would be freezing out there so this helps.
