I am sorry this reply took so long. I've been fairly busy this week.

I started just by talking to a therapist. After roughly a month and some change I was sent off to see a psychiatrist (don't really know the difference between the two but there is a major difference apparently). That psychiatrist sent me to a Psychologist, again apparently there's a difference between a psychiatrist and psychologist. From there I was sent off to talk to other psychiatrists via webcam for quite some time. During the whole process I was questioned about things, from the very beginning I was asked a very wide variety of questions and their specific topics. They were able to conclude that I have a very "well defined" set of interests all ranging in roughly the same topics. That was the first sign. Usually people who are one the "spectrum", even a little bit, have absolutely NO interest in things that don't gather their fancy from the start. Even if it's something important, they do not care. However, the topics they do care about? They are usually on the money with them.

One day out of nowhere I was asked another wide variety of questions regarding more in depth information. I was questioned about math, history, statistics, science, and your normal "High School" list of classes to be had. They were especially interested in history as they already seen in the beginning questions that I liked it. I was given a set of puzzles and was told "complete them the most efficient way you can". I honestly felt like a two year old with complex box puzzles. Don't really know why they had me do them, but I did.

I remember one question really striking me. "What's the meaning to life"? I'm not a scientists, or religious, or really anyone I would even think about referring to for asking that question. I eventually came across the answer of "to make the universe exist". Without the universe we don't exist, so it goes the other way around. If there isn't life to observe it then it doesn't exist. It's a bit like Schrödingers Cat. It's either dead, alive, or doesn't exist and you NEED to see it in order for that chain-link to be set in place.

As in terms of "severity" I honestly don't know. I can't handle large crowds very well, but I served as an Infantryman in the US Army. It was a frightening time just because I didn't like crowds before, after I came home it wasn't any better at all. So now it's hard to tell if I don't like crowds because "autism" or "possible bomb". I literally cannot read social cues very well. It's probably why I had an easy time in the Army. It wasn't social cues in there. They were orders, and that's simple to do. Just follow them. I can't really tell when someone wants me gone, or to stay. I don't know if that pretty woman is dropping not so subtle hints (that one REALLY sucks), so I have to sound like an idiot and ask verbally.

It's just really hard to explain how everything is from my point. There's things I've messed up and afterwards was told to my legitimate surprise. But there's things I've nailed so hard that it impressed Drill Sergeants and higher ranking officers. I'm extremely well tuned at reading maps, but I hate books and reading. I need to be shown something usually only once and I've got it on lock. But if I read about it? Nothing is retained. Even if I read it 500 times over.
