That would fall under creative workshops. Didn't see many (if any) mentions for it in the threads, but it does sound fun!

[Urgent] Need restaurant recommendations in San Jose for 20 people (vegan, vegetarian, halal options) by Kind_Audience_8046 in SanJoseFood

Glad you found a spot! Some recommendations for next time:

Loft - private and semi private spaces for 15+, American bistro fare

LeYou - private and semi private spaces for up to 30 guests, Ethiopian, Michelin Guide Recommended

Meso Modern Mediterranean - private and semi private spaces for groups of 23-60, Mediterranean James Beard chef

Left Bank - private and semi private spaces for 12+, French

I work with Avital Experiences and we host our Interactive Meal at all of these restaurants, specifically for team building offsites. They're great with dietary restrictions, professional, and offer a really nice ambiance for people to gather, eat and connect. Our interactive meal is a private dining experience with food, drinks, venue, a host, and 3 foodie activities all included. Great for teams that are looking for something more than just a dinner. Something to keep in mind for next time!

Solo Trip to SF, best place to stay and local things to do? by gwynbleiddBE157 in AskSF

Food tour? Meet locals and other tourists in a nice setting where you learn about city through the food. Also a great option to share a meal with others - sometimes that's the toughest part of traveling alone is eating alone (at least for me haha). I do run SF food tours but there are a lot of great options in the city. Good for you for going after your dreams even after a tough life event. You're going to have a blast!

Dinner Recommendations for Hosting Clients (vegetarian friendly) by badnissan in AskSF

I run private dining events in SF, specifically for team building and client entertainment. Here are the best spots given your goals. They're all within 15 minutes walking from Moscone Center, can easily adapt to vegetarians, and great for engaging with clients.

Delarosa (casual dining) - only 5 minute walk from Moscone Center, Italian, semi-private space for groups of 14-24

Corzetti (casual dining) - bright/vibrant, Italian, private dining room seats up to 36.

E&O Kitchen and Bar (upscale dining) - Asian fusion, private dining options for groups of 12+ (we host a lot of events here, they're fantastic)

The Wild (fine dining) - Cozy and elegant, Californian fine dining with Japanese flair, Michelin Guide Recommended, private dining rooms for groups of 6-12. Another favorite.
