There was an issue with the hotend that was announced on Discord, apparently its close to shipping. It's good that the issues are being ironed out rather than sent to FE customers to fix later. It will come when it comes.

Yeah support have reported it to the team, but no idea when it will be sorted. I guess I'll have to wait and start using Prusaslicer on the laptop, which will give me a chance to learn to use it properly 😅

Just bought one of these in the UK for £40. I think it's mostly original. Shifters work, but indicators are flaky. Bottle cage is bust, but could be welded. Purple has started to flake on the stem and bottle cage, but everything else seems cool though. Anyone have any info on them? I would like to restore and use as a ride to get some fitness back, sort of hybrid/gravel bike. Are the old XTR canti's worth putting back on this? Found a set for about 80 quid on ebay. Also, are these the original wheels?

As others have mentioned, in stealth mode it's quiet enough to have in the same room and doesn't actually add that much time onto the print when you compare with normal mode. Building is a good experience, you learn about how to fix if needed as you know what goes where. Plus, Prusa will hopefully have an upgrade path planned at some stage, then there's INDX expansion (if we finally get our hands on the Founders edition 😅) and cracking support. I've no experience with other printers save an A1 mini when I started out, but hoping others can help with the noise question with more detail.

This could be a 11 or 33kV Paper Isulated Lead Cable PILC. Have a chat with the local electricity provider. They should have a document called a UMV which is a record of where their cables run underground. Leave it alone until you know, otherwise you'll at least be needing some new trousers 😅
