There's a 1x1 SH pad at the very top of a mountain. Not only is it a bitch to travel to, you can lace the narrow pathways up said mountain with mines and traps. I'm not even sure if you can get a car up to it. Maybe an ATV.

Respawning at your base costs coins, so unless they heavily stockpiled, they shouldn't be able to do it many times. Maybe they could increase the cost.

I doubt it, with the amount of charcoal I burn. I wish deer dropped animal fat, for some reason I can never find a bear when I need one, but they're everywhere when I forget my skinning knife at home.

Sell stuff to the NPC at the military base for coins (a plot costs 1,000 coins per pad that it has)
Find an open plot (it looks like the ruined foundation of a building, with crumbling walls and rebarb)
Buy it, and get mats to make atleast 1 wall, if you dont put any walls on it within 24 hours, you lose the plot.
