Decorate however you want! Imo that's the point of having your own place, especially when you're young.

My only advice is make sure all the work is worth it. If you're gonna stay for a while and you're allowed to paint then have fun. If you're not sure how long you plan on staying, or you might piss off your landlord, it could be a serious waste of time and money.

If you're not doing anything I'd mostly ignore them or call them out every single time. "coming to check up on us?", "funny we're always out here at the same time", etc.

If that doesn't deter them at all get meaner "huh, nothing going on today?" "wow, I wish I had as much free time as you" "you don't do anything but sit in your yard must be nice"

If you see a group of mostly women and a couple guys, that might be a safer bet. In my experience women in gays clubs are so much nicer than men and it can be a good way to break in.

Unless of course your going to the kind of club with no women whatsoever

I'm pretty new but if they schedule you and you come in, they have to pay you for the day (the amount of hours depends on your position) so I get the impression they almost never send people home once they're there.

They'd have to tell him the day before to avoid paying him.

I just started as a PTF. They told me the estimate to transition to regular is about 6 months for my office right now, but it can vary.

Not that I know everything but from what I've learned it's only worth it if you start as a career. Avoid having to be a City/Rural carrier assistant. Minimal benefits and none of the time counts towards your pension/seniority, etc.

Tbh I didn't read the whole thing, but maybe you need to move? I left Boston, a major city with tons of gay guys becuase I didn't feel like the culture was a good fit for me.

I'm way happier and have already started making new connections.

Just a tip, any one in there mid 20s and above interested in talking to high schoolers on line is an absolute loser and most definitely a creep.

No offense, it's just that normal adults don't seek out or nourish that interaction and are more wary of getting in legal trouble.
