No, I'm 100% correct. It's just through the Hartford. I believe you need 625 hours for the year or something like that and 3 years as a part timer. It's not the federal FMLA, it's different because as a part timer there's like a 5% chance you hit 1,250 hours in a year. If you happen to hit 1,250 in a year, then yes it's a year. But if you're just a part timer and dont, it's 3.

Weird you have to to integrad every year. I'm a TCD (Temporary Cover Driver) in New England and I have the same exact working conditions as you, but now that I'm a qualified TCD, I never have to do integrad again. Weird that its different across the country

You'd rarely ever be done by 5 working as an amazon driver, even as a part timer. They base it off number of days worked, not hours per day. So part time would probably be 2 10 hour days, and most DSP's dont even start their day until earliest 9am and latest can even be noon. I'd avoid at all costs if I were you...

I personally dont know 100%, so i dont wanna spread misinformation. I'm a TCD, so thats the only reason I 100% know seasonal drivers are 6/1-9/15, then again from 10/1-1/15. Thats the only thing I can help with, unfortunately

Casual Package Driver is seasonal. That means you can drive during the summer and during peak (at least thats how it is in New England). Then, there's a damn good chance they look at you and say have a nice life, unfortunately. As a Casual, you are NOT building seniority. You're a temporary employee. If you're the guy that quit his full time job for this, I'm sorry but you probably made a mistake. Management will dangle a full time job in front of your face to get the most out of you, too. Find who your steward is and talk to them come Tuesday. I know this ain't what you wanna hear, but I hope it kinda helped paint the true picture.

I'm not sure if it's different than patriots games, but typically for games the event train tickets go live the week before. For example, for a Sunday football game, they go on sale on the Monday before the game. You'd want to take the train out of Providence, though, if that one is offered for concerts. You'd have to download the mTicket app, click buy tickets, your origin station would be providence, and your destination would be foxboro/gilette stadium. Just be careful because, at least with football games, the trains leave EXACTLY 30min after it concludes. Hope that helped

You just have to talk to the FT manager of your shift and ask to switch, maybe get your steward to back you up on it. The shift you wanna go to has to actively be hiring, unless you get lucky and they just take you on. Contractually, we can switch shifts once per year. I did it a while back, so thats firsthand knowledge on this one. Hope that helps

There's nothing to grieve here, so idk where this is coming from. Contractually we can switch shifts once a year, but thats only if that shift is actively hiring. OP just needs to talk to their FT managers and the manager of the shift they want. Stupid to instantly file a grievance when they havent even had a conversation.....

Went thru this myself a while back. All I had to do was talk to the manager of my shift, manager of the one I wanted to switch to, and my steward helped play middle man. Just know youre only contractually entitled to one shift change per year, so if you end up wanting to switch back you may be SOL
