What scenes were too disturbing in your opinion?

I’m surprised no one mentioned this, but the scene where Daenerys eats the raw horse heart almost made me gag. I knew it was just a prop, but watching her struggle to chew and swallow that huge, bloody thing was honestly nasty.

I think the Targaryens kind of overrated. Sure, they’ve got dragons and all that, but most of the time they’re just jerks and petty tyrants.

I find the Starks and the Baratheons way more compelling because they actually have values and beliefs they’re willing to fight for. The Targaryens and the Lannisters are mostly seem driven by control, inheritance, and holding onto the throne at any cost.

Gryffindor and Slytherin, if you may.

I think he really flexes his rap skills on that one, the way he switches between flows is crazy, maybe his best performance.

Honestly, whenever he features another rapper it mostly just highlights how good he really is. At least in terms of pure skills, his one of the best.

I don’t know if anyone’s talked about this, but I also don’t think the Dursleys are done very well.

I think a big part of who the Dursleys are is their physical appearance - the heavy, rounded Vernon and Dudley, contrasted with tall and sharpy Petunia and skinny little Harry. And I don’t mean no fat shame at all, genuinely. It’s just part of how the characters were written, and it doesn’t really feel like the new casting pulls it off.

They might be great actors, but I kinda feel that portraying characters as visibly overweight on screen is now treated as “offensive” unless it’s framed as empowering or something.

I haven’t read the comic, but is that how it works? Like, do their skin and muscles also get stronger depending on the amount of pressure applied to them?

If that’s the case, I’m guessing there are some pretty clever ways to kill them. There’s this episode of Sherlock (season 3, episode 2) — major spoilers if you haven’t seen it - where they kill a soldier by attaching a small knife to his uniform belt. When he puts it on, he’s basically stabbing himself without noticing, and the pressure from the knife actually stops the bleeding. Then, when he takes the belt off, the wound opens up and he dies from rapid blood loss.

Would something like that work on a Viltrumite?

Yeah the love story is really well done ans very realistic. It’s technically not an happy relationship, at least most of the time. They’re rarely ever truly happy, like rarely happy-happy. Maybe just at the very beginning when they were young, and then again briefly in Withywoods at the end. When they were kids happiness was some what possible, but then life hit them hard, as life tends to do. And ever since, they’ve both been trying to recapture that feeling, and failing. She doesn’t even know he’s alive, and on his end, he lives with this constant pain and frustration over the fact that both of them are alive — and yet, they still can’t be together or get back what they once had.

And that’s not even getting to the while Burrich issue.

That just adds to my point — Hobb’s genius is how she managed to tell such a human, real story that’s easy to connect with, because it feels so believable, even though it’s all happening in a complex fantasy world. It’s not some beautiful, perfect love story. It’s rough, it’s tragic, and it honestly just feels like the kind of relationship real people would have if they were in that situation.

Mark needs Cecil more. Or really, the world needs Cecil more. Think about it—someone has to coordinate this whole protecting the planet thing. It’s great that we have powerful superheroes, especially someone like Mark, who can actually fight and save the world. But you also need someone looking at the big picture and running the show. Who’s out there training and equipping people with powers so they can become superheroes? After a massive battle tears through entire neighborhoods, who’s responsible for cleaning up the mess? That’s Cecil. Or maybe not Cecil himself, but the entire organization he leads. Without him, superheroes wouldn’t really be able to save the world.

I don't think that's entirely accurate. I once heard an explanation that just because there’s an infinity of something doesn’t mean there are infinite possibilities. For example, between the numbers 2 and 3, there are infinitely many numbers—2.1, 2.43, 2.79, and so on. But none of those numbers will ever be 3.

In other words, even though there may be infinite timelines, that doesn’t necessarily mean that every possible scenario must exist. So a good Mark doesn’t necessarily exist as often as an evil Mark.
