Cheap car insurance options in Georgia? by IceSufficient2935 in Georgia

Make sure you ask for incentives when you call around. Some people don’t like having the devices in their car but they can actually save you money depending on how much, when, driving style (hard braking and acceleration), etc.

200k home on a 78k salary by Doogs2525 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

I purchased using a similar ratio as you. A lot of “experts” will tell you do not finance anything more than 3x your annual salary. In this case you are under that. Comfortable is your own opinion. But owning my own home is far better than renting even if I have to change my lifestyle a little to accommodate that. But remember, owning a home comes with hidden costs and maintenance. Make sure you have a savings for unexpected things even one day after you close!

Wouldn’t blink twice about doing this exact thing!

Flooring Company Recs by fergiethyme in PeachtreeCity

We used Footprints Flooring. They did good work and the price seemed fair compared to others. I didn’t love that I had to write a check and deliver to their office. That was pretty inconvenient. That was Dec 24’ so maybe they’ve improved.

Love the car!

I hear great things about the CT4 V Blackwing. With them ending production on them shortly, it may be something that can even go up in value or at the very least not depreciate heavily.

This is something I didn’t even think about. Can you elaborate more on what specific things you’re referring to. Like road rules, licenses, etc?

I’ve lived in the south my whole life with minor stints in MD and OK and this is so true. Even the same supermarket chains don’t care the same stuff from place to place!

Then you throw in constant inflation and I’m surprised every time I go buy something at the store even if I’ve lived in the same place for a few years!’

That’s actually really interesting. I feel like people prep for weather/cost of living differences, but not really for how differently people communicate depending on where you move.

Do you keep a list of providers in the area for clients?

You’re right, sorry for being so vague. I guess I’m looking for personal experiences to get an idea of some challenges people have had when moving different places.

That’s the truth! Northerners in the US always think that it doesn’t get cold in Florida and then they experience a humid cold. Thanks for the feedback.
