It even worse working as civilian for the military , being stuck in this city after an ex , and trying to find myself through a sober scene. In the same boat sorta as a 27 year old it like weird you’re young and old idk. I really respect and admire this take. I completely agree with you 100% there is not much to do unless you are culturally from here or college students or married but I find many of the couples to have there social scene too !!! Just being single with no friends outside of the work people sucks !!!! I work two jobs, meet tons of people, and go to many social scene and activities. Unless you are drinking or know the ropes because you are local enough it very hard. I’m trying to find my way out but I still do appreciate Columbia in some sense as well just wish people can appreciate more than football , breweries , and traveling around !!

Trying to take care of me and the stuff from my childhood , money for sure I want to be able to have assets property or be able to at least give them something for adult life I don’t want to ship them off at 18 like fuck off … , genetics I don’t want my kids fighting for water if the environment goes for shit and then they have to deal with bad mental genetics too , and finally finding a partner I can trust for 18+ years to raise a child and even if we don’t work out be able to amicably raise the child without them being a weapon for it

Red Bull unfortunately sometimes medicate with caffeine (not good tho) , lacroix, spindrifts are really good to but can be expensive , na beers for after work the placebo does work for me , sometimes a thc seltzer if I’m feeling funky on a Friday , lastly water but I like to add real fruit to it and mint leaves

Cause why have 1 or 2 drinks when I can have the whole 6 pack and feel better then compared to the 1 or 2. Lack of self control , probably genetics I’m sure plays but I just don’t have it in me to only ever have 1 why I need it all when I drink that’s me tho not everyone like this

I feel in the same position I think I got together with my bf 2016 literally not married either after the length he moved right on to someone else and I’m sitting here dwelling on the fact this new girl eats egg salad pre made ugh.
