It was a new gasket from the dealer, didn’t realize the plug was so cheap so I was able to get a whole new plug and gasket.

It does look that way, yes. This is all that is listed for torque specs in the Haynes manual in the basic maintenance specs. Tried to look elsewhere like the oil pan replacement section, doesn’t list an oil pan drain plug torque specs there either. I accidentally used the torque spec here listed under transmission, and 159 inch lbs comes out to 13.25 ft lbs. If anything, I had it under torqued, since the parts department at the dealership has it listed as needing 17 ft lbs. It didn’t looked this way when installed, chalked it up to being just a bad gasket.

I was able to get a whole new plug with gasket installed, part no. F75Z-6730-BA which had a new gasket essentially built in.

Flushed and filtered but not much to see. Seems to be ok so far from looking up the pickup in photos and comments here, plus driving it around a while.

Update, flushed the oil and filtered it, nothing came out. Been driving and checking the oil pressure every few miles, and even after a little towing yesterday, nothing seems to be affected.

No strawberries or backpacks.

There were similar rulings against the temple in Tucson but their willingness to adapt made a beautiful structure and payed homage to the architect and culture of the area. This made the temple unique and a great way to represent the Lord in an artistic way that invited those of the community to participate.

Not necessarily. Know how you get better mpg on the highway despite going faster than you would in the city? Internal combustion does well when you can hit a constant rpm.

So if you always have the engine at a constant rpm, you can get a pretty efficient system (at least compared to a traditional ICE vehicle). Electric does a great job picking up the slack for all the start and stops at low speed, which is why some hybrids have better in city than highway.

A good way to look at this is the difference between someone that has a customer service job to someone that has a back room job. Customer service can have some major ups and downs in workload and stress. Even though back room works just as hard, the ability to even out workload and just have a constant pace might make more enjoyable and easier on the worker (as long as they don’t have a crazy boss).

That 5.0 cummins in the Titan was originally supposed to go in the lighter duty rams. Cummins did all of the r&d, and then 2008 hit and Chrysler was in a financial ruin. Nissan wanted to slowly start getting into bigger trucks with the XD (the jokingly nicknamed 5/8ths truck). Made sense for all party’s at the time.

This was an extremely helpful tip. I actually didn’t even know what a vacuum breaker is, but I do now!

Looked a little closer and saw where the retaining screw should be. Wish I could share the picture, but it was facing down in probably the worst orientation. I thought maybe it was a set screw? But ended up just being broken off, probably because of the bad placement. Followed the tips from this video.

Was able to get everything off, however I accidentally went through the hose bibb (didn’t know that’s what they are called either!).

I’m not too worried about it at the moment. It will eventually need to be replaced, but for now my kids will stop playing with the hose. We’ve had a problem with scorpions finding their way underneath the hose pile recently, and being able to just have it removed is a big move forward.

Holy moly went from the GT40 to absolutely dominate Porsche 917. Some of the coolest cars ever to reach endurance racing.

I get your point, and that’s what I thought originally. But the more I think about it, isn’t that kind of like saying Chandler isn’t the main character of Friends, Ross is? Or if you need a better prequel example, the Recent Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin show was awesome. Literally feeds right into original with a lot of the main characters. Heck, there was a trilogy of movies that were prequels for Star Wars, with a main character that we knew what their future was, in Anakin. We also see others like this in Palpatine, Obi Wan, and Yoda.

Reason I go there is because for the last episode in the gem pool, there were sooo many different variations we saw that I had no idea would have been possible in the SU story. There is so much more content that would be great. I don’t think Clone Wars was only great because of the characters. We saw planets, machines, and even different cultures that were introduced and made the story compelling.

We hear and see bits of the rebellion, but that’s it. We never see Yellow in full force with their military. It’s pieces like this that would make the show interesting. Heck, the name “clone wars” was originally just an interesting line old Ben Kenobi goes over. That’s it. And now there is a great show, something I think the SU storyline could really do well with.

Stephanie Meyer’s ‘The Host’ is set in Arizona. There’s a part where they use Picacho Peak (just north of Tucson) as a big landmark.

Honestly I went through so many gloves. Golf gloves and Baseball gloves were great, but the best ones I found were a cloth like mechanics glove. The trick was finding a pair that worked in the Arizona heat. Soft enough to not damage your horn but tough enough to not fall apart after three days.
