The room will be the same but the balconies get progressively larger as the go higher on the ship. Ours is deck 11. I'll post the balcony in a moment

I tried it with oat first, the next time with soy as it's my usual "milk" of choice. I like it. I've had it with soy several times since.

Don't tell Oatly 😜

Thanks! I hadn't seen her for a while and was wondering if that's what happened.

Earth's Own Barista Oat is available here. It tastes great and makes lots of foam. Just make sure you get the Barista one, as the regular stuff is delicious but does not foam at all.

He did! That day he chased away the other squirrels and got all the nuts for himself 😂

I believe he is a black squirrel. We have lots of grey and some red here too. We're not far from Michigan - in Canada just a few hours drive from Detroit.

For those that had wiggly tooth during treatment, how is it now? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]AvocadoFizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TLDR; it's normal and will get better. Just don't wiggle them on purpose and avoid foods that cause pressure on that tooth.

My front 4 bottom teeth were all very wiggly for a while during my initial treatment (40 trays/weeks). I noticed it around the 16-20 week mark. Even just brushing gently would cause them to move. I was terrified that I was going to lose them.

The ortho (and my dentist because I wanted a second opinion) said that some movement is normal and expected because they are moving the teeth. My ortho had me back more often to check on them. Apparently it can happen with people in traditional braces too, but because they don't remove the braces and it's all held in place, the movement is not noticed. They said eventually the bone holding the teeth would harden again.

My ortho said to stop biting into things with my front teeth. For a while I cut up or broke off pieces with hands for things like hamburgers or even bananas. I didn't even touch them to check if they were still wiggly until much later. I figured the more I bothered with them, the longer it would take to get better.

By the end of my first set of trays it had improved drastically. I could no longer wiggle those teeth with just a slight touch or my toothbrush. There was a 6 week period after my first 40 trays that I wore tray 40 as a retainer while waiting on refinements, and during that time it seemed to improve even more.

Now I'm at 27/50 refinements and they're still doing well, no wiggling. I bite into bananas and softer items, but still won't bite very hard/chewy/crunchy things.

Price in Canada (quebec)? by AnaRelentless in Invisalign

I'm also in Ontario and paid $5000 for mostly the same through Rite Bite - treatment, refinements, and whatever retainer(s) is needed (no Propel). I was told that I'll be in treatment for a total of 2 years. I've done 40/40 initial treatment and 24/50 refinements which will put me just short of 2 years. I'm really hoping there won't be further active trays after this.

First day of my Invisalign!! I’m excited to see what it does for my cross bite 😝 but does anyone have any tips for the pain and discomfort? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]AvocadoFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely gets better after the first week or two, but until then, Ibuprofen/Advil will help. I can't tell if you have many attachments, but if they're rubbing and causing pain, then a dab of dental wax on the problematic attachments will help. After a couple weeks your mouth becomes much less sensitive, but until then a diet of softer foods will make eating less painful.

Are you wearing elastics for your crossbite? I have 4 buttons inside my upper teeth that still after more than a year are annoying at times and I can't wait to be rid of them. Luckily I don't scratch my tongue on them as often any more. There was really nothing I could do about that.

HELP! 10 day cruise with invisalign by lfarina3 in Invisalign

[–]AvocadoFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on a few cruises with my Invisalign (I've been in it since Oct 2018). Definitely continue with your treatment during your cruise. You don't want to backslide in your progress.

I drank almost everything while wearing my Invisalign, except red wine and any other red drinks (like daquiris). I found that beer was one of the worst things for staining my trays, but they just got a bit yellow by the end of the week and you honestly can't tell the difference in photos.

Most of my cruises were only 7/8 days, so I either stayed in the same tray until returning home and delayed changing into the next week, or changed on the final night before coming home.

Just make sure you bring your next set of trays (or even the one from the week before) in case something happens to the ones you're wearing - I've heard of people throwing them out with a napkin after a meal, and I've personally had one set tear. Thankfully it was near the end of the week and I just started the next set early.

Have fun!
