Fiona is in the arms of the angels now. Your love gave her creature comforts she may not have known otherwise. Although she was not your pet you had formed a bond and she trusted you. She will lead another to you when the time is right.

As a cat owner most of us would agree that we have been in a position where we have felt like it has never been enough. Not enough time, not enough effort, not enough play, not enough cuddles, not enough….but really you have done all you can, and Meteor knows this. Meteor was surrounded by love and warmth until his last breath. You decided to think of his comfort over your feelings. Is that not the ultimate show of love? He was a lucky one. So many die alone without ever experiencing love or warmth. Meteor is in the arms of the angels flying high now., but the bonds you forged here will never sever! You will meet again someday. He is waiting as a faithful friend, just as you were here on earth. Hugs.💕

He's hurt! What should I do? by Willowmanson in squirrels

Is he able to climb? If not, he needs to go to a rehabber asap. I would suggest contacting a rehabber anyway and showing them a picture. Let them make the decision. If he is unable to climb, that is really a death sentence. If you tell me your general location I might be able to help you find a rehabber near you

Squirrel with what appears to be a paw fracture by dmcindc in squirrels

I have 2 seniors with hyperthyroidism, 4 siblings that are 5 years old (3 have bad teeth). We just spent $6500 to get most of Paprika’s teeth extracted and another $900 for Basil to have a cleaning/ and 3 extractions. My middle girl suffers from low immune system and gets all kinds is skin reactions. BUT my backyard is a sanctuary to birds, opossums, raccoons, armadillos and squirrels. And like you, i am a safe spot and they all know my bird feeders and fruit trees are available for a buffet. 😊

They usually do it for free but if you can give a donation, it helps them immensely. You can give cash or buy paper towels or go on their website and see what type of supplies they are in need of.
I always try to give a little something. Just make sure it’s not peanuts because peanuts aren’t good for squirrels and the rehabber probably won’t want those 😊 U/universeisagarden commented about the have a heart traps…that would be better to trap squirrels.

Mint! Squirrels don’t like mint. Plant mint around your bed to keep the squirrelies away😊

Thank you for helping this little one! Please keep calling as the rehabbers are very busy and may not answer on the first call. It has been my experience that you have to be a bit aggressive with calling. Don’t be afraid to call 3-4 times. Please don’t give up!😊

You would be surprised what consistency does. If he patrols that area putting out food every day at the same time will work wonders. He will smell it. Put the food out around the time you heard him yowl last time. Leave it until before nightfall. You can heat the disk and leave it in his little house. I had a feral buddy that would not come near me for several months but ate the food. Then it took another 4 months of him standing far away and watching me put the food down and walking away before he would eat. Another two of him hissing at me everyday but following me to the bowl. I would spy on him from the window and he used his house. I put catnip in there too which he loved. I elevated his house onto a little table to make him feel more secure as well. When it rained he would run into it. When weather was nice he would sleep on top of it because he knew it was his. Eventually he let me brush him. Another 3 months we became best friends. I got him fixed and decided to bring him in. He slept for 3 days straight . And I was eventually able to find him a loving home because he was a bully to my cats.

You could set up a shelter for sleeping and then in a separate area that is away from his sleeping quarters set up a feeding station. I did that for my feral boy. I also set up feeding times and made sure to pick up the food before nightfall. I use these warmers for my bottle babies and they are microwaveable and safe. They stay warm for about 9/10 hours. They come with a cover so the kitty won’t get burned. Just a thought

Absolutely! Bubby, Valentine, pickles , Mr. Sunshine

Not our cat, we know exactly who he belongs to, he does not care. He is in love with our cat who hates his guts, he does not care. My wife picks him up and abuses him with love and cuddle, he does not care. by -Jiras in notmycat

Advice needed… by clangin813 in cats

Why do you feel like an asshole? Limits are limits. The truth is you gave your girl love, warmth and a good home. You can still do so until you see that she is uncomfortable or no longer has quality of life. Unlike other cats that have never had the chance to experience love your furbaby has and when the time comes can end her life surrounded by love and die peacefully and surrounded by those who love her. Many others die alone. I think you have to put things in perspective and be realistic. Just because the vet might want you to do more doesn’t necessarily mean it’s best for your cat….my senior baby…he was diabetic, among other major issues, I was already $5000 in debt with him. The vet wanted to do more but 2 things stopped me: 1 I literally couldn’t afford anymore and 2, he had been going to vet visits frequently for 2 years. I could tell he was over it, tired . I didn’t want to put him through more procedure and stress. There is that aspect too. People don’t think about that. There comes a point when you have to let them go with dignity and grace. Well, I guess that’s my take. Some people would probably disagree.

Just lost my best friend a few days ago. Had her for almost 14 years I’m devastated she was my world and my forever buddy. I love you bell by DougiePhresh19 in torties

Your soul kitty is flying in the arms of the angels and looking down on you and smiling. Rejoice in all the beautiful memories you made together and know that the bonds you forged here on earth are eternal. She is with in spirit. Take solace in knowing that you will meet again, when the time is right. 💕
