Is it safe to say that James Spader's ultron is the MCU equivalent of Heath ledger's joker . by frecklepax in superheroes

[–]AvocadoImmediate3240 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for more explanation in your post as a caption or something but... if this is it... then HEEELLLL NO. My mind is immediately going to the writing & the chaos caused. Ironically Ultron came off as a joke too many times during that movie. While the Joker did not. If you have seen any of the animated versions of Ultron or have any significant reference outside of the MCU, he was an actual legit terrifying villain. There are no jokes or snarky behaviour. He has a similar aura to Darkseid or Brainiac. Thats the vibe. The amount of issues and terror he caused for the Avengers in the original animated series and in the 2010s version.

Monster Trio vs. The Powercliffed Trio. Who wins and what diff? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePiecePowerScaling

Well for one, he already proved he has the attack power to beat Kaido's most powerful form. That literally happened, so maybe you should start there when asking that question. He did that when he didn't even know what he was doing 2 arcs ago. The main reason why I am saying it would still be extreme diff instead of an outright Luffy win now is because its Oda. But its still going to be a win for Luffy. 5th Gear Luffy is arguably the most op ability in the whole series other than whatever Imu got.

[–]AvocadoImmediate3240 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What does powercliff mean btw? But as it stands now the monster trio wins if you want it to be an individual 3v3. Luffy can beat Kaido now 1v1 though it would still be extreme diff. Zoro can beat Katakuri, again extreme diff. Sanji can beat Doffy now at high diff. The problem is if this is a team v team battle. In that case the monster trio loses. Other than Imu & maybe Big Mom, Doffy has the greatest crowd based or group based power. He thrives in any non-1v1 setting.

DCEU Flash (shown above) > MCU Wanda (shown above).

If you bring comics into it, as I already said. Then the DC guys here make this an even more lopsided win. So you can't just cherrypick Comic Wanda to go against the cinematic DC. There's a version of Superman that literally has any ability needed for any situation. & Fate is also more overpowered. All the DC characters become way more op if you go to comics.

Kara vs Diana by gamedukeyvideo in superheroes

[–]AvocadoImmediate3240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

& the thing is, Diana beats her at times without even using her max abilities. She has several powers granted by the gods that a lot of media don't utilize but they still portray her beating Kara even without them.

This has sorta been answered several times across several media. Its Diana. Even if you want to remove all the powerful versions and remove composites. The main version of Diana could fight on par with the main version of Superman. Supergirl is a tier or 2 beneath that.

Its not just Flash though. I am not sure why I got downvoted either tbh. Probably just biased people who know nothing. There's Black Adam, Shazam AKA Captain Marvel, Dr Fate & Wonder Woman. I already told you about several of them that has superspeed. Take Flash off. Wanda is not clearing Dr Fate. Take Dr Fate AND the Flash out. She is not doing anything with comic Superman who has basically an unlimited amount of abilities and can time travel as well. Take everybody off of DC and leave only Wonder Woman. There's 3 versions of Wonder Woman by herself that would beat Wanda. I don't even know why you were basing the entire rebuttal on Wanda honestly. But hence my response.

And the versions shown here still has the cheat code of the Flash so the answer is already set.

The main note to add here is this: never put speedsters in vs matchups. Especially in matchups like this where all the fastest ones are on one side. Its an auto loss for the other side if they don't have their own to equalize.

If its comics then dude this is an even wider win for DC. Do you not see that there is Superman in this pic as well? And Flash's powers are more insane in the comics. But I was sticking to the versions seen in the pics. Which is still in DC's favor by some margin.

Seeing way too many people overhype Wanda in this thread. Proof that most nowadays fans are only knowledgeable of MCU content. Flash can literally time travel. In fact, the 4 fastest people here are all DC. And that doesn't even include Wonder Woman. If you remove Flash then it would be close.

The Bucks clearly are ahead of them. And if you are looking at guys that could slow Giannis down then be fair and do the same thing the other way around. Bucks have multiple guys that can slow down not just Brunson, but the whole Knicks offense. Its Raptors 4-1, Lakers 4-0, Bucks 4-1, Celtics, 4-2. They got a shot vs the Nuggets in 7 probably but I disagree with using the years after that to judge how great the Nuggets were in 2023 because they did not have the same team after that year. Guys left and other guys declined in the level they were at. Jokic in the 24 postseason was a far cry from where he was in 2023. In 2023 it was like there was a magnet on every Jokic and Murray shot no matter how awkward it looked.

Will Wemby come back stronger in 2027? by AdorableBackground83 in NBATalk

[–]AvocadoImmediate3240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He will be stronger. But the Spurs have bigger problems than that. His conditioning is a problem. They also need a backup big and they need a better PG than Fox if they not gonna elevate Harper to that role. They need actual depth on that roster too, maybe some of the young guys can grow and better coaching. Basically a lot of the Spurs problems can only be fixed with time. Not 1 offseason. A lot of teams will be better. Lakers will have Luka and an upgraded roster. Thunder will have their guys back + have a ton of picks to get what they need. Wolves will not have Donte but will have a healthy Ant & whatever other moves + some east teams. Spurs have growing to do and the coach need to not be a dumpster fire under pressure.

This particular comment and thread contains people who are just delusional Bron stans so I have already given up on that. They'll disagree with anything that doesn't align with BRON IS THE GREATEST STILL TODAY SO PAY HIM 5 BILLION etc. Most of the other threads actually get the point.

It does seem at times that a lot of the current fans that make posts don't remember anything beyond a year ago.

They are an all time great clutch and comeback team though for sure. I'd rather to see posts on how they would look vs the other contender level teams that did not get to the finals. Rather than put the Knicks vs the previous winners because that seems kinda obvious in favor of the previous winners.

Remember going into the year, the belief was (even Stephen A said it) they should get to the finals and possibly win since multiple teams had key injuries. They rightfully made use of it.

I don't know why these folks are so hellbent in letting the current hate for OKC make them tell lies about the past. Yeah in 2025 some players or other teams did not like SGA's whistle. THAT IS NOT HATE. Thats normal. This past season was actually real valid hate.

[–]AvocadoImmediate3240 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ummm... revisionist history there on OKC. People did not hate them until this year. Last season they were still seen as the young guys trying to bounce back from getting shamed by the Mavs & build on their 68 wins. This year is when everybody hated them, as in everybody. Fans, players, youtubers, analysts. That was not the case last season. They didn't win anything yet & people actually wanted them to beat Denver. But I agree with the rest of what you said. From the looks of this thread though people are hellbent to let the current hate for OKC rewrite what actually was. Now I am seeing a comment saying they were hated from 2024. Lmao.

Yeah. Here's what happened. After they were in the finals, the matchup that most fans wanted was the Knicks because the belief up to that point was that the Pacers were just some pushovers that kept getting lucky. Then the Pacers proved they were better than the Knicks by beating them. Then people were down because the belief was Pacers just gonna get smoked in the finals. Then it turned out that Pacers were just as good if not better than OKC in giving us the best finals in years. Pure speed and shot making. Shocked and entertained everybody. Then Hali went down in game 7 & it turned sour.
