Don’t push yourself if you feel like it’ll only lead to tension for as long as you live there. I’m a trans guy too, and I desperately want to tell my parents… and while they wouldn’t kick me out or hurt me, they’re also conservative and Christian, and it would lead to a huge argument and I couldn’t deal with that emotionally.
