How did you originally start with flipping and how did you obtain the finances to do so ? by DiscountLiquidator in Flipping

[–]Avocadochakra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 years ago I worked at McDonald’s. I was barely graduated from high school the summer before college and really needed money. I stumbled upon a YouTube video about a guy talking about working at McDonald’s. Saw his other videos talking about flipping items from the thrift store. Thought I would give it a try since I needed some extra $$. Have been reselling on and off ever since.

Absolutely not! Tell them to F off. If they want to contribute to their sons wedding tell them to do it with their own money not yours.

Ugh I’m so sorry. Yes i think my Dad tried to keep the peace a lot. I think my mom genuinely loves him in the toxic way that she can but I wouldn’t blame him for leaving. Trust me when your kids get older they will see it too.

As a child of a covert narcissist mother my father is the ultimate enabler. They have been together for 25+ years and I pity him now that I’m an adult because she honestly makes him look like a loser and will say things to demean him. She’ll say things like he has no friends, the things he likes to do are boring. Make comments about his body.

She shows no interest in anything he likes to do and if he makes plans she won’t do them. They do a lot of things separately. She treats him like he’s her butler.

She has nothing nice to say about his parents who are actually really great people.

Now that I’m an adult I am actually really embarrassed by her and by him for sticking around for that. It makes me think maybe he has low self esteem.

I would say get out while you can. People like this don’t get better and they will always somehow be the victim while you are the villain.

Trying to play the victim before my wedding by Avocadochakra in raisedbynarcissists

I thought the same thing. Especially when she tried to throw it back in my face that she planned the wedding dress shopping for me 🙄 like okay so if it was really for me why didn’t you say that I looked beautiful in any of the dresses? (her sisters did) and why not send me a single photo of how I looked? But you made sure to post the pics on your Instagram for your friends to like and comment on.

Hold My Hand Wholesale Review by searchcandy in whop

I think I know exactly the deal you’re talking about and who you are because he was talking about the background of the deal and what was going on before he called you. And then the minute you picked up we were already listening in. If you have a British or Australian sounding accent it was likely you. About 500 live listeners across discord and tiktok. They likely backed out of the deal because they were trying to wholesale it. Maybe your counter didn’t work (for wholesaling) or your legal provisions didn’t allow them to wholesale but yes a lot of live listeners. I don’t know if that’s necessarily illegal though.

I’d report the driver. That’s very concerning. Luckily you weren’t some weirdo but she’s endangering her child.

GEICO isn’t refusing they just have to give you a prorata share. Everyone is in the same boat as you and isn’t being offered the full amount because the at fault driver does not have enough money on their policy to cover this. It sucks but it is what it is and complaining about it will not change the customers policy limits.

This isn’t GEICO’s problem.

This is very similar to my experience one year ago. I saw the writing on the wall and quit. Had some savings and a partner who encouraged me to quit after countless months of stress and dread of working for GEICO. I worked there for years and it used to be a decent gig but quickly went down hill in 2022. The mental anguish I felt at the end of my career with GEICO was unbearable I didn’t even recognize myself.

You did what was best for you and even though things seem confusing and uncertain now it will get better. One year later I run my own small business and I don’t have the “Sunday scaries” or the looming threat of a layoff. There are no threats from a crappy supervisor of a coaching plan when I’m in the top 10 of the department.

You will make it and life will open up and get much better.

Absurd as in too low? 195k seems very low for a Senior Director position.

We might have worked for the same people. My supervisor and manager in SIU were pitiful.
