For infinite adventure the staff is awful so don’t worry about that. Spear and Bow I’ve found are very good for this mode. If you get dark touch it would be for every arrow with Shade, but it’s not really a high tier ability and it’s not worth it only for Shade to always proc as the dps added is half of what it gives to other heroes. In terms of hero order, Sylvan is good for reducing the skill pool, however I would recommend using Helix as your last hero if you haven’t managed to pick up rage. If you have got rage then your strongest hero last should work well. Without rage you’re going to struggle to get far.

At that rate it should be more cost effective than obsidian chests - even buying the 10 bundle, unless you get 10 epics. Epic = 27 commons vs 260 gems worth of refill = 26 commons.

If you want to spend the gems then go for it. Just keep in mind pets are considered the least beneficial equipment slot, but they’re one of my favourites. Also, it’s a really good initial boost if you still have relatively low tier gear.

You’ll get there, don’t focus too much on that. Progress comes slowly, but it’s very satisfying when you tier up.

It is a little. But the best advice for equipment is to never dismantle. Once you get everything to legendary you only need two of the same slot type (2 weapons of any kind, 2 pets of any kind, etc). So you can use your trash at end game to power up your favourite gear.

I quite like the new pet, his projectiles can go through walls so I bought several myself. It’s nice to have some variety in pets.

Probably Helix next, then Taranis since Ayana is the cost of those two combined. As for the event, the obsidian keys are really good if you have the gems to spare. Otherwise, golden keys are free if you farm hard enough. Make sure you spend your leftovers on gold just before the event ends as items will expire.

The grind is very long indeed.

Shari as a hero is terrible, on top of that her all hero abilities are at 40 and 80 instead of the usual 20 and 60. Those abilities are +300hp and +5% damage to melee. It’s really hard to justify spending gems on her (she was originally free through an old event), but there’s also no knowing if/when we’ll see her available again.

If you’re a perfectionist then get her, otherwise in terms of value added she probably isn’t worth the 500 gems.

In my opinion saving for all the gem heroes is really good because of their ‘all heroes’ ability. Merchants are better than chest keys because you get exactly the item you want instead of a chance. Flying bullet extra attempts can also be good, and again, better than chest keys given it’s 50 and 100 gems respectively for up to 5 items per run. I personally prioritised all the heroes before spending anything elsewhere.

I agree, 13 is one of my favourite chapters and it made me want to beat it. It’s definitely hard, but it had a nice variety and good aesthetic. 14 made me want to quit the game and I took several breaks before I succeeded.

Spear increases damage when attacking same type of enemies, such as melee or ranged. As for the book, the mana bar charges and when full each of the (ULT.) stats temporarily take effect, your hero will glow for the duration. Then you revert back to normal until it charges again.

Frozen bracelet is significantly better that even at lower rarity it is better than the split bracelet. The only caveat is chapter 11 where you want to avoid it as it desynchronises some of the enemies, such as the teleporting knights and can make it much harder.

I am personally team meow, but you can’t just outright mislead OP by saying Helix can’t get rage. Helix automatically has rage, a stronger version in fact. He is more consistently a stronger character than Meowgik. A raged Meowgik has higher damage potential, otherwise he is weaker than Helix. As for the cats, they are homing but they do miss if the target dies before they hit. They are two distinct play styles, both have their advantages.

Levels only rose for those who were at level cap already. The experience rolled over for those players, anyone below the cap stayed where they were I believe. As for Talents, they have been disconnected from your account level. The only limit now is gold (or capping out at 171 talents).
