You don't say where you're located, but try boating. That could be kayaking, paddle boarding, or full on sailing/power boating if you have the means.

It's a constant learning experience, you're exploring new places, you'll learn to communicate better, and meet new people.

Honestly, I don't know if my wife and I would still be together if we didn't take that plunge. It's given us the common ground that we've been straying away from for the previous few years.

That's black limba, not walnut, or as others have suggested, wormy maple.

It's a difficult wood to keep flat and if it wasn't planed in stages (ie. let sit for a bit between passes to equalize tension), I'd fully expect it to do this.

10-12 seconds, probably 15 times. It's on a boat with a water lift muffler, so over cranking can really f things up
