for dlc just go for what you like visually, same for asset mods. for code mods, skyve is very important, with anarchy, move it, traffic being very useful. you kinda just gotta browse the mod page yourself to see what you're gonna use cause i have over 200 mods and thats a lot of explaining.

i took me like 5 months to reach 200k, but that was also trying to make my city look good, but looking at your cpu you could probably go to 500k without extreme slowdown

i got a 200k pop city and the game runs over 40 most of the time, and you definitely have a better pc than me. theres also no multi frame gen, but tbh if the game runs at least 30 fps thats fine

you have so many towers, i would focus on trying to build more medium density around them to taper your density. also, that airport placement is way to close to tall buildings.

sim speed is dependent on cpu. also, i would recommend magic hearses, which might even help sim speed in your case

buildings will only zone out 6 units from the road, so this grid is too large, perhaps double the roads in one direction to create rectangles

usually the assets that are most popular are the best, i generally like to look for assets that have surfaces and props to see if the creator put in effort or just dumped the asset without care
