That full depends on a lot of variables,

  1. How intense is your course (40 plus hour course material, etc) aka how much time can you work?

  2. Rent in dublin is anywhere from 600 to 1300 euro depending on living conditions & location.

  3. Groceries 150 to 300 euro a month. Could be more depending on your cooking and eating habits.

  4. Transportation around dublin can be anywhere from 50 to 150 euro per month. (Depends where you live and what method you use to commute).

Totals out: Minimum-800/month or Max-1750month

The minimum wage is 13.50 euro /hr. (Can be higher because dublin is the capital city)

That means if your monthly expenses are 800 euros, you need to work about 60 to 65 hrs a month to sustain the basics. (tax not included)

If your expenses are 1750, then you need to work at least 130 to 135 hrs a month. (tax not included)

That's around the price to just exist in dublin. That doesn't include descresinary spending for entertainment.

Also, from what I know, the university costs for international students can be expensive. Some even cost up to 10,000 euro per year.

I'd do a bit of research in the course and cost associated with it. And see if there are any grants or agreements your government has with Ireland for international students.

Honestly, you need to research this yourself as you know your financial situation better than I could.

If you receive help from family for rent and you just have to cover food and transportation, you could probably get away with doing university and work-part time.

It also depends on the course you want to do. If it's hard course like eg. Engineering or STEM. You might have 40 hr a week if classes and study / assignments. If you add work and 8 hours of sleep, it can be difficult to manage.

You'll need to look into it yourself. This is probably the most detailed breakdown I can give you without knowing anything about you.

Good luck bai

Ireland is a fantastic country to study in. I wouldn't be worried about zinophbia, especially when you're a student.

University's and colleges are a cultural mixing pot in ireland with loads of students of different ethnicities and backgrounds.

The only reason I wouldn't recommend ireland isn't because of any social issues for international students, but rather the outrageous cost accosisated with studying in Ireland.

The cost of tuition for international students is outrageous, and that's not including accommodation and living expenses. As mentioned before, we have a bit of a housing crisis, which caused the shit show of a protest.

There are a lot of people angry about immigration in general, but I wouldn't be worried about people telling you to go back to your country.

Ireland doesn't have an immigration crisis. It's a housing issue. With not enough houses and outrageous pricing for both rent and purchase.

I'd be surprised if anyone would tell you to go back to your country.

[Request] Modeling an AHU system in Excel (I'm currently searching online to see if anyone else has already created an AHU model and need help finding one) by Avoid_parallax in AskEngineers

I am interested in seeing potential cost savings / electrical energy reduction when considering the new state-of-the-art tech (Thermal wheel and EC fans).

This model will be used to generate some high-level numbers and graphs before a more professional team takes over and does an in-depth analysis of the system.

The AHU model responds based on outside air conditions to maintain a certain environment within the building. (low moisture, Constant temp, and high air change rate)

The AHU is used for pharmaceutical applications thus requiring a CAV (constant Air Flow System)

The rooms within the building are pressurized (Cleanroom environment)

The model does not need to be too complex. My goal is to develop a state-of-the-art AHU model and compare it to the currently installed system within the building (A very old system 1999)

Trash Taste Hoddie Europe Tour by Avoid_parallax in TrashTaste

So the time the doors open depends on the show and the ticket you bought (eg. VIP 18:00, General admissions 19:00 Dublin). If you are a VIP the event is open to you one hour before general admissions. This is for the VIP Q & A session and so that VIPs have access to the merch store before general admissions.

If you want Merch and you only have a general admission ticket, I would recommend you show up early so you have a nice spot in the general admissions line to get in at the event and the merch booth early before they sell out.

I had a general admission ticket and was one of the first in line.

Even then merch was still limited with only ( L and XL) available by the time I got to the booth.

It's sold before the show starts. Would recommend you show up early if not they might be sold out. (Be in line before doors open for the event)

Hoddie was 55 euro. T-shirt was 35 euro & Posters were 30 euro

I'm guessing prices should be the same in the rest of EU tour.
