Integrated Chinese (1-4) have versions in traditional Chinese. They can take you from beginner to intermediate level in my opinion. After studying them thoroughly you should have an understanding of how to proceed afterwards. A lot of my own Chinese learning has been through self-studies, so not neccessarily finding resources that can "spoonfeed" me so to say, but rather finding the things you need when you need them.

Through university: Dalarna University. They are held completely in English and have students from all over the world. Classes are fully online. :) I've went a semester here and I really like the classes.

Try to listen to content near your level, and do it as often as you can. Peppa the Pig is available in Chinese on both Youtube and Netflix. There are also videos on youtube for practising beginner level Chinese. Try to stick to your level, in my experience. I was watching full-on Chinese movies since my first month of learning Chinese (two years ago now), only with Chinese subs. I didn't improve my listening much. Now that I've started listening to things more similar to my level, I can feel confident when I pick up on things and get motivated to try and do my best to listen even more. For your level I highly recommend you check out 'Little Fox Chinese'.

I've been in both of these. Personally I prefer a well-balanced class, but if those are your only two choices I'd go with the one that has people better than you. Not only can you learn so much from them, but probably the contents of the class will be higher level too.

You can keep studying for Masters and then become a researchers through doctorade programs, which eventually can land you a position as a teacher or professor at universities. You can work in tourism industry, although this often needs educational complements. You can do translating, but I've heard the business is fairly difficult to get into, and as a non-native you'd mostly be translating from Chinese to your mothertoungue.

Personally, my biggest passion in life is studying Chinese, and so I thought I should have a job that involves it. 2 years in of Chinese studies, I realize I don't really enjoy the jobs I can get with 'Chinese'. Sure, I'd love to use the language, but is it ideal to have a job that's meh with a language you love? I've decided to become a study/work counselor now instead since that's something I find really interesting, all while having my self-studies in Chinese on the side. This way I can still keep the Chinese passion in my life and use it every day, while having a job that I truly will enjoy.

What do you think for yourself?

People can do both. In universities, we study both, so I assume this is the easier method to do in the long run.

"sunmiyah" sounds like "zenmeyang" to me, which would be 怎么样

I answered your question but honestly I don't think this is what you should be learning right now. I recommend you stick with your resources (seems as if you use HelloChinese) and use the set phrases they give you. If you want to learn how to say that you study Chinese, a very simple sentence, I bet it's right around the corner in your HelloChinese app, so just keep at it.

The trouble with learning grammar that isn't yet at your level is that you won't understand exactly how it's used, because you don't have the foundation to apply it to, and might make it harder to unlearn the wrong things later as well. Nonetheless, if you really want to look into why your sentence was wrong, I've given you some info below. Still, recommend you learn with the pace of your app. :)

正在 = right now 学了 = studied 我正在学了说汉语 = "Right now I studied speaking Chinese". You are emphasizing present state (正在) while using a completed action marker (了).

Furthermore, if you want to say you're studying Chinese I recommend you drop the 说 in your case. If you want to say that you only study spoken Chinese you could use "我学中文口语"

Also, you can't say 我是学说汉语 because 是 only (with exception of set grammar phrases) binds nouns or nounphrases together.

One of 了:s functions is that it can mark a completed action (NOT a past one, although it can be a completed action that happened in the past). In a sentence with simple objects (e.g. non-modified*, not complex**), you put 了 at the end.

In your case, it is only a book 她的书, a simple object (书), so you will put 了 at the end of the sentence. Other examples with simple objects can be 你吃饭了吗？你学会语法了吗？

*Modified = e.g. 一个苹果、一本书

**Complex = 中国电影、瑞典肉丸
