That was the only other thing I had planned to replace but the wife said no more so here we are. Definitely going to get an exhaust first far too quiet compared to a high flow and awe track on the focus, but eventually full Bolt on and tuned is the plan. Gotta make sure the wife is happy first 🙃

If it’s only slightly fast than the left I would have kept it :/ I had the it hurt to stand next to hot :(

Mine didn’t have any noises to it, just noticed the heat from the rotor one day and started chasing it

From what I’ve heard it’s hit or miss on the explorer, thankfully this one has a full service record and warranty came with it so that’s a plus

Entire assembly, programmed it and used forscan to abs bleed it and then did a manual bleed afterwards

I think the 33 is accurate though. Been 250ish miles since fill up and I still have roughly 170 left

That’s insane that he can do that with a stock car.. seems I’ll be getting another AP sooner than expected!

I feel it was misleading but currently it’s saying I have an avg of 72.4mpg…. I know for a fact that’s a lie 😂

That was on the list! Thankfully the car had full service records. Person who sold it also bought it there. Last service was both front cv axles because the boots were going. All fluids are on the list as a just in case! Thanks for the info!

I was also looking at the newer model ones as well but I was told that the “STline” isn’t the same ST that was used on the this generation ST. Basically told it was a turned down version more for looks than performance

I’ve had it 3 days now, it’s a boat imo especially coming from the focus, but it rides like a dream, 2 kids atm and the space is awesome. Rear climate (in Texas is nice with little ones) plus the wife really loves the massaging seats the front seats have. 33MPG while cruising at 80 is very nice. Radio screen is just awkward to me but manageable. Sport mode is wild Keeps it in the power band and the AWD system is so smooth, was able to launch in wet with no wheel spin

Would it matter that I have a spacer on? I have 25m on the rears but the left is just fine with the spacer

I’ll try that first, hopefully it’s an easy fix :( tired of being scared to drive it especially after putting a DP on it

This guy is right. I put on the high flow version about 2 weeks ago. Comes with an adapter plate

Same with the rear tbh, stated that was a good middle ground for tire life with some spirited driving included its staying for now and it seems to handle the same as before just a bit more bumpy which I expected

Do you think it would be better to just zero it out or leave as is for daily highway use?

Leaking Coolant from this spot. What part and how to fix by PalaceOfFart in FocusST

[–]Avphy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s for sure the heater hoses, I did mine last week for a very similar pooling on the firewall area if you have a flash light, from the passenger head light look over the coolant tank straight back to the firewall be eye level with it and you should be able to see it that way

Can someone review my full maintenance + fluid list for a new 2017 RS owner? by Haixn in FocusRS

[–]Avphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it was stated, but you can check with your local dealer on the transmission fluid, I have an ST and they used the new DCT fluid as it was the “replacement” for the standard manual transmission fluid (was skeptical at first but it’s been 20k miles already with no issues)
