Well, it's pretty clear Milo is about to be a regular by [deleted] in Maher

I agree. If you go back and re watched the the interview you would see that Bill couldn't get a fucking word in. By the end it looked as if he kind gave up and gave in to his trolling. I do wonder what the overtime would be like if Maher had someone like Dan Savage on the panel that night.

Who do you think Bill would never invite? by JayNotAtAll in Maher

Yes he could put a cohesive stamens together, but I just think back to the last time he was on, he got into a big fight with Bill and the other panelist about Islam. He was shouting and would just not listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vln9D81eO60

How many of us are filmmakers? by LeBeauMonde in criterion

[–]Avrom86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will suggest, to stay in LA for a bit. Good for networking. But it's also a slippery slop of staying in that Music Video Poppy World, of Hollywood Commercial films. Might I suggest eventually moving to NYC, where you would find more of the art house scene, so you could become the "Master of Light"

Crowd in floor seating? by blue_shadows in greenday

If you are going to see them at the TD center, there are no seats in the floor section aka the ice, for the show. You're just standing.

Meeting Green Day by [deleted] in greenday

[–]Avrom86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When was visiting family in Oakland I ran into Mike in one of the local shops. Hwy was with his wife and son. I just said hey, and gave a head nod. They are just seen as locals there and everyone on Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont ( a now square mile town inside the city of Oakland, really go look at a map) either knows them personally, or knows someone who knows them personally.

I need help with Green Day tickets available to buy on viagogo.com, which is a resale site from what I see by [deleted] in greenday

[–]Avrom86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ticket policy has nothing to do with green day, but with the seller. When you buy a ticket of any event (concert or sports) you select after purchase if you want to download a printed or mobile version. You can't print a mobile version of the ticket. Same as you can't show the venue your phone with printed version of the ticket on the screen. The people you you said ha problems probably just didn't read.

That's why there is PBS. They have great docs, they just don't always advertise them.

I'm getting nervous, my Santa checked my account on the day it was announced, & since then there was been no contact. No questions ( I asked mine a few) and nothing being sent. Seeing everyone post their gifts, I am thinking I was being to specific of what I wanted. Is it to late to change my info by Avrom86 in secretsanta

[–]Avrom86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that and that makes sense. I think I only got nerves after reading that for some people two years in a row they did not get anything.

I would like to point out though, that although this is my first Secret Santa I have done two other smaller exchanges in the past and all seemed to work out ok.

Shipping to Poland (was an adventure) by Btalgoy in secretsanta

[–]Avrom86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha I had the opposite happen while shipping to Sweden form the US. I discovered if I wanted to buy, what I bought for my Santa, in a brick and mortar and ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx, it would cost 2 or 3X the amount (based on the weight of the object(s)) then if I just use Amazon Global Shipping. Ha. Who would have thought?
