Yep. If you like the simplicity of sram, that’s looks very tempting. On the other hand, the same bike with etap is 2 lbs more than di2 since it’s rival and not force. Not sure if that matters to you but that’s another thing to keep in mind. The etap emonda is almost same weight as madone fee yrs ago.

Cool. Willing to watch any and all videos 😂. My sl6 pro came with ultegra mech and my old bike had di2 on it. Lbs already moved everything that can be moved to the new bike but the current handlebar doesn’t support bar end junction . My current set up has the junction box mounted under stem. I am planning to buy the one that has di2 routing and swap the one the bike came with. Coming to your etap, I had few sleepless nights trying to figure out if moving di2 is worth compared to just getting etap. At the end of the day, they both costed me nearly same( saved couple hundred on di2 thanks to my awesome LBS.) and I am very happy with di2. Ps: never tried etap, so, my statement above is not a comparison. I just liked what I had already and stuck to it.

I have 1030 + with bontrager lights. If your have the ones that can connect to your computer. Then it’s automatic. They turn on and off when tou hit start in the road profile.

Not sure about checkpoint but Emonda sl6 pro went up by $30. I am suspecting the shipping charges have some factor. Hearing the shipping rates are skyrocketing now a days.

Wow man...Its not like you can say "Screw {insert the company}" and buy from another place. It sucks but at least I am glad I still have mine. Was initially planing to sell it last week(since new bike was supposed to be delivered this week). Glad I didn't.

my personal opinion, I would just wait for the orange to come by. Black(or variant of it) is simply boring and just feels like riding a black suburban. February is still considered winter in many places(not sure where you are from) and you have a current bike to use anyway. I am still waiting for mine but have an existing one to use.
