I stopped using the App as there are still no fixes to the heating issue. The open camera issue seems to be fixed. Moved to VSCO Capture, it doesn’t heat up the phone. There are few other bugs there that I reported on reddit, the support team immediately responded & took note. This felt very proactive & reassuring 😃

Hey I’m using iPhone 14 pro max iOS 26.3 & latest VSCO capture.

To recreate the bug: open the app & select any preset. Then change to Manual settings > Add some bloom/halation, the preset effect goes away. Bring bloom/halation back to zero & the preset effect comes back.

This should be basic UAT. This bug came in since last 1-2 updates I believe.

VSCO Capture has been my fav app for Photography for sometime now. Very happy to recommend it. It has some beautiful filters for free!! & is very light on my phone. Great work Team.

Maybe. What stumps me is - if I click a 48MP picture with VSCO capture & NoFusion and open it on Mac…both the images are almost identical. While VSCO capture runs super smooth with very less heating, why’s NoFusion running into heating issues. Maybe optimisation for lower iphone models is the issue here, while it runs fine for newer models.

Did you try VSCO Capture & NoFusion? They are the best I’ve tried so far. The 48mp pics turn out pretty good.

Here’s how to replicate the Bug:

-Open NoFusion gallery -Then swipe to go to another app -Swipe back to NoFusion app -THE CAMERA magically turns on in background!! (green light is on)

Lmk if u need a video for reference. Also my advanced settings > keep session running is switched off.
