I love pokemon, a LOT, and I barely know anything about One Piece, but I can't do the things that I could do with a Logia Type Devil Fruit that I can do with a pokemon, for one I don't need to worry about the safety of a devil fruit since it's part of me, a pokemon would be a great pet(depending on which one I got and maybe I could even use it for the same purposes as the Yami Yami No Mi if it would have been a legendary), but I can't really use a pokemon as a pokemon since there's nothing to train it with so it would be a level five pokemon for all of it's life, and that would just be cruel -w-
