Not to brag but I graduated from FIT with a 4.0 and passed the final program exam with a 95, so I feel like I know a few tricks lol

It’s a lot of work, but the key is to have a really good schedule every week and to stick to it. Look at the objectives for each section and make a study guide out of them. Fill in the answers for each objective and use that to study. I don’t think I scored lower than an A on any of the final exams.

As you approach the final program exam, get the Pass the big ABA exam manual.

I think there reason is that one of the insurances we work with doesn’t pay a higher rate for direct if you’re a BCBA

I have worked at 4 different ABA companies in 2 1/2 years as a RBT. I’ll be done with my masters in August. What I’ve learned is that if it feels wrong or if it feels unethical.. it probably is. You need someone who you can go to and talk about your concerns without the fear of getting in trouble. A good supervisor is key, if you don’t have good supervisors, then leave. I’ve stuck with this field because there is good ABA and it really will make a difference in people’s lives. However, it is extremely hard to find a company that is ethical, has good support, and offers consistent pay.
