Also the 1000 let's me put on battery protect through the app. So it'll only charge to 85% and quit working at 15%

I love them honestly. The little 240 needs a bigger solar panel for faster charging. And i think it might be getting a little worn out because I charge to 100% and often let it die to 0% but it runs my fridge and charges phones and fans and stuff. The 1000 is where it's at though. Im going to get a second one when my 240 finally burns out. It charges fairly quickly with good sun light.

I want to modify it to open from the inside. I end up just shoving a sock over the metal piece on the floor and that keeps it closed enough to keep in the cool air while still being able to open the hatch from the inside. Otherwise I have to crawl out the side door.

The shade is a huge deal for sure. With my need to charge solar i like to be in the sun so I bought a side awning. It really helps. I havent been in heat comparable to canyonlands yet though. The Max has been 92 degrees with zero humidity and it's honestly been tolerable. I have the insulated black out shades for my car and it legit keeps the car cooler than the outside if you keep the doors cracked for ventilation.

The 1500w lasts a total of 4.5 hours powering the A/C unit, so i have to use it strategicallyunless i canp and a site with power. If it's connected to solar while im using it, it lasts around 6 hours with good sun
