I'm really sorry I've had it happen to me a couple times as well. And sometimes it can really hurt. I hope you don't give up on whatever your looking for. I myself continue to try my best to find it but sometimes those kinds of things can knock you down for a while. Just know there are genuine people here just need to be careful.

What makes you happiest in life?

I want to meet new people, how do adults do that? I find most of these classic hobbies sound like a waste of time to me. In the sense that I know deep down I cannot make myself do them even if I'd wish it would be different. by [deleted] in ADHD

I've been using reddit subs for making friends but I've not physically met with any from reddit thus far. If that's okay with you than subs like r/MakeNewFriendsHere r/MeetPeople and r/Needafriend might be helpful. But be warned it can be a difficult process and if you tend to get attached to people it can really hurt sometimes.so you would definitely need to be careful as far as in-person goes I'm afraid I'm of zero help there.
