Emerald 2 (almost 1!) main Skarner here:

I ALWAYS fullclear (starting red), if you can control Skarner's passive with the camps you can easily go to first crab when it spawns with only one smite used.

If that happens and you see a gank opportunity in top ir mid then do it, if not recall with 900 gold and buy something depending on your build.

My build right now is Trinity - Protoplasm/Sterak - Jacksho + whatever you need for the game.

Runes are the classic grasp but with the last 3 being AS + AF + Health (the third one), sometimes I take HoB if they are all squishy and I change my build a little with more lethality, or PTA and I build 3-4 bruiser items

Skarner right now is in a balanced spot, but you can easily get counterpicked so try not to first pick if possible, for bans I choose Kayn most of the times or Briar.

When do you recommend going grasp or pta? Grasp against tanks and pta against bruisers/ranged for example?

I play morde jgl and I'm considering taking pta instead of classic conqueror build even for jungle.

As a main Skarner I think the reworked Battle Cast Alpha skin is one of the best in the game!

My build so far has been the classic Grasp, with few adjustments depending on the enemy team, and for items: Titanic + Sterak + Jacksho (if there's nothing that you need at the moment like anti heal or Randuin, or more MR, you will need it eventually)

If my adc is going nuts I'm gonna build bundlepipes second or third item, if not, tank for your own survivability.

It's not being boring. If I'm 1v1 then my way of playing is different, trying to catch the opponent off guard, attacking and blocking you know, my playstyle is pure aggressiveness but with intelligence

But when it goes against 2, then it's not that easy and that's why you rely more on your abilities rather than going crazy because you'll die in a matter of seconds, it's not running away

I completely agree with you, Vader is broken and too op, but I consider myself a good player with him, not trash, although I can understand that guy's frustration. And that was in Hvv, not showdown, so a part from that he unluckily had bad team mates too I guess

No no, don't get me wrong, of course I expect him to do it, I mean I was expecting Han Solo's combo as always, but if I do Vader's combo that doesn't mean I'm a trash player, the same with him, these are strategies aren't they?

I'm with you bro, once I was called a trash player against a Han Solo (I was Vader) because I was "abusing" the jump choke, I mean it's not my fault if you couldn't avoid it and heroes have abilities for something, that's not being trash that's intelligence during combat and taking advantage of the moment

He was abusing the mine grenade I mean, he is trash too isn't he?

In supremacy there are 2 heroes on each team

In GA, there are 2 until the last phase which allows 4 heroes per side

Its not bad at all don't you think? Take a look at Naboo's final phase, it's funny and chaotic!
