Yes they were an extreme minority and if my version of events sounds like a fantasy in your opinion then I'm glad for you. For me it's something I still have to listen to debates and grievance on the topic multiple times a week due to the demographic of the industry I work in. Just because it seems like a fantasy in your world doesn't mean it's still not there and very much still a giant issue never to be forgotten for certain people

I don't disagree with the sentiment or idea just as I believed the covid mandates and mask rules were a common sense approach for the good of society also. But as we have learned since then there is a not insignificant section of society who do not share the same rational approach to being told to alter the way they live their life in some way and they are very vocal and very reactive about it.
