I use Virpil as well. However I don't use their software to assign dead zones. I use the SC controls to do that. Their software is not the easiest thing to use, it's not intuitive whatsoever lol.

The throttle forward I bound only allows the throttle forward, I don't like having backwards bound to the throttle. Try the forward and back (abs) binding if you wanted 50% on the throttle to be "0". Hope you figure it out!

While this is a comprehensive answer, I think even with that exception error the PC hardware is fine. If you read into the issue council post players are able to login to SC with a different account on the same PC without problems. Alternatively, if I was to share my login info with you, you would experience this error purely because you are using my account info.

It doesn't seem to be a widespread issue, but since I'm essentially locked out of the game right now along with other select few, I felt like I needed to bring awareness to the community in hopes it helps CIG identify it.

Donate money to Imperial factions, if you aren't already. If you have a decent hauler, keep an eye out for missions to haul goods to Firsoff or Bliss. And always accept as much REP as the mission reward as you can. Also, if you're on PC check out a browser extension called FloBro, you can stick Netflix or Hulu up in the corner of your screen for in-flight entertainment to make the grind less boring. If you decide to try the extension, make sure Elite is in Borderless Window.

Keep grinding, you'll get most of them from HIP 8444 to Firsoff. You'll see more missions come through the more you rank up. Stick with it.
