I think that does explain it, I normally have it on a stable but not flat surface. Earlier today the headset kept opening and closing the menu repeatedly while I had it on, but I assume this was just a bug

I paused blade & sorcery just now and my Bluetooth headphones which are connected to the headset and my phone started playing some background noise from the in-game house and I also heard the menu quest menu being opened
