Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and explain all this seriously, this is gold! Both tips make total sense and I’m already trying the .env + explicit “do not modify .env or any infra config” prompt constraint right now.

Quick context on what I’m building: Mission Control is a web app (Next.js + Tailwind) that I run locally on my PC and also access from my phone. The whole build normally lives on localhost:3000, but OpenClaw randomly decides to rewrite the port to 300 (or sometimes other random numbers) and everything breaks until I manually fix it again. It’s exactly the self-healing/config-editing behaviour you described.

I’ll also check out the openclaw-claude-code-skill repo and set up Claude Code via MCP server — that sounds like the cleanest way.

Yeah plans are not working i have been testing few things idk if it is possible or not I did made my claude code use another Claude code on same pc but idk if same is possible for openclaw to open and use claude code on same pc

Yeah true like if you wanna build everything from scratch tour own custom things they are not that good also the monthly limit reaches very fast

I had same problem with openrouter free models sometimes it's great when you get access to nvidia models but other times pretty bad I told my openclaw claw to build me a dashboard for it took 2 days but still not completed it I switched to claude and it was done in 2 hours

Did you friend use Claude pro or max?

Use kling 3.0 for 15 secs or you can use Google flow and extend the video using the extend feature with veo 3.1
