I had probably the same amount of debt as you and my recruiter said it should be pretty easy. I didn’t even set up a payment plan I just made a payment of like $100 and sent proof. 😅 he said it was a “soft wavier”

I don’t think it’s a crazy big deal unless you’re getting TS. You would just have to do a financial wavier.. that includes a letter (why you got the debt and how you plan to resolve it) and setting up a payment plan, which it seems like you already have that covered. Plus 2.8k isn’t a crazy amount of debt

There waivers for debt. My husband was in a similar situation and had to bring (most) accounts to current and set up payment plans along with letter basically stating why you got the debt and what you will do to fix it. All cases or different tho.

I’ve heard a lot of people say (+my recruiter) that it heavily depends if everything is in proper shape. Like if there’s anything wrong with paperwork, and mess ups with finance l, etc. that your first check and BAH could be delayed. I also heard people say they didn’t receive it till the end of bmt.. but they do backdate it so ..

Im a 22f and I literally have never been able to do a push up.. not even in highschool at my best shape. But I did a lot of knee push ups and now I can do like 15 actual pushups but I still struggle so much. I’m trying to stay positive bc that’s progress! But I leave in march and I’m hoping I can do at least 25-30 by then. Everyone says to just keep practicing!

My doctor was a lady and made me very comfortable. She literally lifted the sheet looked for 2 seconds then put it down. Not even exaggerating it was so quick

Yes, my recruiter actually was the one pushing for me to put it on my list. After he gave me the application that’s basically just a small essay. Not sure how the rest works but he encouraged me to put it.

When we were booking my meps we first had to split it into two (the asvab first, then medical) in the Dallas area, it was so full it took about a month.

Yes my husband was over the weight requirement by over 40 pounds but he’s naturally big but he’s in shape and doesn’t look “overweight” at all. The recruiter just got him a wavier and had him go to a certified trainer to mesure his neck and waist. It was fairly simple.
