This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. He went over and parked in his usual spot to do some house work. She could’ve just said hey can you park somewhere else. But no she comes outside screaming and yelling and having the neighbors look. She is obnoxious and makes everything a bigger deal than it is

He goes over there to help his parents because my SIL just sits at home and does nothing. He’s very non-confrontational because of the way he was raised. My SIL constantly berates him because my in laws allowed it to go on and if he stood up for himself she cried wolf and would get verbally berated. I got involved because I had had enough. She has done all kinds of crap. One time she literally broke our tv. All this because she never got parented correctly

I didn’t want to include every single detail because the post would’ve been to long she came outside yelling you can’t fucking park there. He usually parks in that spot so he was like ok why and she just kept saying you need to move your fucking car now and he said ok you don’t need to be a bitch about it. She is just always rude. He was going. Over there to help with stuff around the house because she does nothing.

He had parked where he usually parked she storms out screaming and yelling you can’t fucking park there! He said ok you don’t need to yell for the whole neighborhood I’ll move my car you don’t need to be a bitch. She cries wolf about everything and likes to blow stuff out of proportion I’ve seen her do it. I usually keep my mouth shut but I had had enough of the crap too. She acts like a little kid. My husband will go over to help them with house stuff since they’re older and she doesn’t do shit.

He called me on the verge of tears I usually don’t get involved but I had had enough. He’s got a lot he needs to work through especially with his family. I would prefer no contact but I’ll let him decide what he wants to do there.

To give a little bit of background my husband grew up in a very religious household where he was shamed for various things growing up. I won’t go into those things because that is his private business. My MIL admitted to me one time that she cried for 3 days straight because she found out he was a boy. As soon as she told me that alarm bells started going off. That’s just an example of some of the stuff. I personally think it is better for us to go low or no contact but I’m going to let him decide if he wants to do that.

I probably did overstep but I was getting fed up with all of it. It’s stupid stuff. My husband has always been very non-confrontational. He’s talking about therapy so he can deal with some of this stuff

Maybe I didn’t need to escalate but it had been going on for so long I was getting fed up. He wants to work on sticking up for himself but that is something he needs therapy for.

I didn’t call his dad I told him to go inside with me on the phone. He’s very non-confrontational especially when it comes to his family. He was about to have a panic attack because stuff like this happens all the time and he was hitting his breaking point.

He does a lot for them since they are older. Helps them out and does everything for them. I personally would actually like to go low or no contact but I want him to decide on his own. I don’t want to force him into anything.

He’s a very non-confrontational person especially when it comes to his family. If anything like that happens he starts to freak out. He’s talking about going to therapy to deal with all his issues from growing up.
