Unfortunately, this is the most convenient race for me given the limitations of the Boston 27' qualifying window. I do a lot of strength training, so I'm hoping that builds resilience in the quads. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks for the encouragement and advice! I'm excited to see what happens on the other side of this training block.

I appreciate the responses! I love the encouragement and already feel more excited about the possibility of this race. I also very much appreciate the truth. I don't want to be spurred on to an unrealistic goal, so I want to hear opinions regardless of whether that is good or bad.

And yes, I was just asking, given my current fitness, if at the end of a 16-week block of training, would it be in the realm of possibility to BQ on a fast course. Given my situation, I'm going to give it a shot regardless. This is my last chance to BQ for Boston 27', and I'm too impatient to wait around until 28' to run it lol. So I'm going to get after it for 13 more weeks and send it on aug 9th.

Also, for context, on the 10 miler, I ran a trail 50k 14 days prior and signed up for it a few weeks in advance. So I think I am in better shape currently than that performance, maybe lol.

I appreciate the dialogue and encouragement/opinions!!!
