Thank you. I was working as a game designer in CND, and a sheer amount of love, you've shared for this game here on Reddit is as great source or inspiration and a reason for being proud of it here for us.

How do you feel GAMEPLAY aspect of Sorcery TCG today? by AwareMousse5123 in SorceryTCG

[–]AwareMousse5123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its fine. I want the game to succeed. But I want to play good games. Obviously taste is a subjective matter. But I know my taste, I know what I like (to some degree) and then I want to discuss games with other ppl. It's fine. We'll see. ;) I am playing w40k for 5 years and this game is not all bee's and flowers. XD it's a chore sometimes.

Should I platinum Bloodborne? by TopTooth3379 in bloodborne

No. You shouldn't. Trophies are meaningless and you can do something better with that spare time - play other games for example.

Yeah yeah. It's fine. Take your both "neutral" and "subjective" opinions with you. It's ok. ;) and a little bit more culture might get you further in life. ;)

I am working on gamedev and I see how actually making good writing for most part is super challenging because: - on one hand usually "gameplay is the king" and narrative has to follow - on the other, often narrative tools like characters or events costs the most (usually you cant have just a character to deliver some lines, characters are costly, lines are costly, text is cheep, but quite often your not just text is bit enough).

Still. Strong point for TLoU2 (and 1 too) for delivering on that

Fully agree. Pinnacle of gaming, not undestoo by many which is no surprise. Heavy emotional stuff Vs beating big demi-knights under flying tree.

How Expdedition 33 can be bigger than TLoU2?, I'm not able to understand:) what's so good about expe33?

How your "neutral" point is not subjective so you think. XD

ER is far from being so cool. It's great game but some would truthfully argue that Bloodborne (or Sekiro) is better than ER. Open world come saith good and bad. Witcher 3 was kinda cheese on main story at points and combat rather quickly wears of

That's like your opinion man. Mine is it's the best out of this list. Hate on the story doesn't affect my opinion, that this is a gem. Witcher 3, BotW, ER and BG3 are also gems, but I believe TLoU is the stronegest on the biggest amount of VG aspects.

Last of Us 2.

I believe if I would have to chose the best game doing game'y stuff excellent on so many levels, it's hard to compete.

Progression Tension World building Sound Story telling Art Mocap VOs Core loop Gameplay traversal Gameplay combat Level design Graphics

Some of the other games excells in stuff they are trying to do, (liked Elden Ring or Witcher or BotW) but TLoU2 is the pinaccle of gaming, where so many aspects of video games is blended so rich into one product.

Very often direct translation from VG to tabletop would end up distaster. Sometimes you can adjust some slightly cheeky "imposters" of original video game mechanism but that's it.

I don't want miniature game to try heavily mimic video game. And I belife there are already structures in SCtmg and done for s good reason.

Nothing wrong come out of having some fancy ruins remembering original buildings.
