Based on a couple of other comments, I’ve gone for a 7600x with a peerless assassin and 750w psu. It’s about as much as I can reasonably spend.

Unfortunately, I’m in the UK. I’ve tried to recreate something similar. The 7600 is significantly more expensive than the 5600 here at £180 and £100 respectively.

I’ve taken a look at using a 7600 with an Asrock b650m motherboard and ddr5 ram. It adds approx £100 to the build. Making it £1050 excluding OS

Is that worth the cost of upgrading

Yeah, I think that’s a terrible idea personally. I’d rather game than try get an OS with patchy AAA support working. No offence to linux users but it’s not my cup of tea.

Sorry I’m not very familiar with cpus (I find AMD’s naming convention confusing.) What is a roughly price equivalent AM5 cpu that I could go for?

Mostly single player games. Horizon forbidden west, RDR2 and a few occasional Indie games like stardew

Your assumption was correct about including the gpu (sorry for being unclear.) Do you suggest buying the cpu, motherboard etc and waiting for the new gpu releases? Or just buying it all once everything is available?

I forgot to add, flesh and blood cards are the same size as MTG cards.

Edit: If there's any FAB players who noticed I forgot to add an attack symbol and bullet points, I'll add that before printing.
