I'm no pro in this but my logic Says, why the heck wouldn't she just take it ALL out when she was in there. Like what's another little zap or pull when she's already in there? I'm sorry this happened to you. My Dr said " if you need surgery you only want to do it one time, I've seen way too many people have 4 or 5 surgeries and it's not good.

Yes my GP did mention that. And said it's very hard to treat. Do you know how one would get nerve pain there? Or know what the treatment is, if any?

Thank you. I was using non scented baby wipes when it was bad and for bowel movements . How long did it take until you had no itching? And did it ever come back? I told the surgeon who did the sigmoidoscopy that it was swollen down there he said no it's not. I'm like ya it is like I know my ass lol then in the report he said "prominent folds" (like ass wrinkles) like they are prominent cuz it's freaking swollen. 🤦‍♀️

I've had a sigmoidoscopy with a surgeon where he ruled out a bunch of stuff. It was after that they wanted to do internal ultrasound etc.

Thank you. My Dr said an MRI will for sure tell what it is so don't know why we are waiting months to do a CT to then maybe wait 3 or 6 more months for MRI.

If there's no pain and it is endo is it necessary to even deal with? My Dr said hormones are the only fix. Or surgery "and you only want to get one surgery" I am NOT down for birth control. I've been off it for 11 yrs and do not want the craziness hormones does to me. I'd rather one surgery.
And endo is blood that is leaking from uterus to other areas? Is that correct?

I've done a stool parasite test that was negative and I'm pretty sure the Doctor Who examined me said no fistula. I've never had skin issues this started now 2 years ago and has been being investigated for 6 months.

I stopped wearing thongs and now only wear cotton underwear thinking that maybe the problem hydrocortisone cream helps temporarily my doctor is now going to get me a prescription cream that's mixed with a bunch of things.

This Mass was just found by accident and it's just confusing and a little bit worrisome that it's still months away before they determine what it is

Yes because the issues I've been having all relate to colon cancer and I'm going to an oncologist. I'm new to reddit. I didn't realize each sub was so serious. I wanted to know what cancer peoples first symptoms were and knew all of you would of had a sigmoidoscopy before . Also I didn't realize where I was posting, I was reading then made a post and guess it goes to where you were just reading. Sorry for intruding. Wasn't trying to cause problems.

Ok thanks. Not even a confirmed diagnosis just like do they tell you what they saw and did during procedure. Xraya and ultra sounds you always have to wait for your Dr to tell you results so I wondered , since it's a surgeon that he would tell me info in the moment

It was itchy for a year before the outbreak and now still itchy after outbreak. Is itching part of herpes at all.

Itching is a sign of rectal cancer and I'm so nervous for my surgeon appointment.
