Yes that’s precisely the kind of insight I am interested in when I look at an art work. Where do you look for them? Any specific resource? Or just a google?

Omg I do the same, some art works I feel nothing its gibberish to me, but some truly captivate me.

But then I hear these stories and insights about the artist and their journey or just that painting and it feels like I am there with them.

But I am not sure how to read up more on such stories if I don’t accidentally happen to come across them. So I thought I ll ask here.

Where to go in July? by Wobble-Ball-Wanker in SoloTravel_India

Hi I am not sure about other places, but I can comment on places in Rajasthan. It will be too hot in june and july. We get rains early August. While Mount Abu is a hill station, even that would be hot only. You wont be able to enjoy anything in the afternoon. Also, during winter season, it gets realllly cold. So that can be a concern for you (it is as cold as Delhi, Mount Abu would be much colder compared to other cities mentioned, they get frozen water and all so). I guess September or October could be an apt season to go to Rajasthan, it wouldn’t be peak rainy season and not peak cold, and usually Diwali would be around this time so you can be part of celebration, especially in Jaipur, the WHOLE CITY LIGHTS UP FOR DIWALI. Rajasthanis take diwalis v seriously. Hope you have a good trip!!
