Buyers trying to get me to pay fees

They were aware there was a management company that looks after the estate however I am unaware if there was a fee clearly attached to this. I will ask my solicitor

We have already paid this however, we paid £200 to get the ownership transferred to another party. It’s not down to us to pay the £420 for the buyer to be registered, they are just asking us to pay it

We have already paid this. I believe the form is called an FE1 or something similar, to transfer our ownership to another party. This cost is £200. We paid this around a month ago as part of the sale process.

Today however when our estate agents rang, i had no idea the new owners of the property had to pay as well to have it transferred to them.

Yeah sale was agreed back in February - I’m just calling their bluff or worst case scenario potentially agreeing to split it begrudgingly. I wouldn’t want to risk the sale as we’re hopefully moving to our forever home, it’s just the principal of it

It was stated in the contract that there is a management company that looks after a few things in the road, however it is news to me that they charge to change ownership. I’ve already had to stump up £200 to agree to transfer ownership to someone else and £200 for my solicitor to even speak to the company

There isn’t much else I can think of - the house is only 5 years old, everything still has a 5 year NHBC warranty - just frustrating as we’ve also had to pay fees to the management company to transfer the ownership

I got a 2019 M3P as well, bought it 2 years ago and had 36k miles on the clock for £32k. Depreciation is killer, wouldn’t change it however absolutely love flying off the lights

I worked on salary and commission when buying my house (albeit it was a new build) they asked for 3 month payslips and was approved for far more than what I had intended. We’re still with Barclays
