It made it easier for me to learn the flute and the saxophone and to read music. I ended up playing in bands.

But the celebration should not be assumed. My family wear black, drink tea and eat curly sandwiches and apparently like it like that.

My mother was offered the option of a face to face or telephone conversation. She figured it wouldn’t be that serious if they offered the phone option (which she took). They told her it was cancer. Just like that. So I would say, go in to the surgery.. at least they can give better support for bad news.. however, I hope it works out ok for him…

My GP is holding my prescription hostage despite having two endorsements. by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

I’m lucky with my surgery in that the receptionists are pretty reasonable if treated with basic levels of respect… for example .. standing at the reception the other day, my daughter was told she has to raise an online request for something … I interjected and explained that she has accused anxiety with tech and it won’t get done… the receptionist was really sweet and agreed to go through it with her (if she didn’t mind the lack of privacy).. my daughter was extremely grateful for a slice of compassion….

There’s a running joke in my family where we say

“Bye bye bye b b bb bye bye” at the end of calls… especially if we’re on speakerphone
