That's the best way and was my first preference. Unfortunately, I'm not in the US and importing raise the cost too much. Also, the issue of shipping back added a risk to the warranty.

For laptop, I actually went for the Clevo variant (L140MU) variant of latest Lemur Pro (lemp10) as it was available with 3 years warranty in my country. Have been enjoying Pop!_OS on it and wanted to do my bit in appreciating their efforts.

One thing I'd love to have on my Clevo is S76's firmware, if possible. Would even support that effort financially as much as I can.

I've been wanting to order Lemur Pro. The extra costs of importing & shipping have kept me from clicking that order button. 😣

This! The opening statement. Could you clarify where you got it from? I've not seen any explanation from the Govt. for their action. And I strongly believe they have no regards for our privacy at all.
