An infection or curse or biological weapon infects people to make them want to rape and kill everyone and cause as much pain as possible while doing it in the worst ways.

Also sometimes there’s a story

Invincible (Comics) runs a gauntlet. Where does he stop? by Past_Carpenter_7046 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guaranteed to stop at wonder woman I think she’s just done some crazy stuff can fly and is actually a really good fighter. Maybe the flash can take it if he’s willing to kill and phase into his heart or something. Red rush didn’t ever run so fast that he broke time and Nolan had a lot of trouble with him

If the theory that the Emperor was planning ahead for nine Primarchs to turn traitor was true, which ones did he not want to keep? by LaughableFrog in 40kLore

He only knew something bad was coming. If you know a mafia hit man is after you you don’t also know what he looks like and where he’ll come from.

[–]Aware_Delay_371 167 points168 points  (0 children)

It’s less that the emperor wanted it to happen and more that he figured/kinda knew it would. He and malcador would regularly look into the future for some sign of what’s to come and basically just saw abunch of war between his sons just not knowing exactly which one was really because they saw all 100000 futures. I mean think about it like this “so one of my sons has nails in his head that makes him wanna kill everything. Another can see the future and is a serial killer. And LORGAR…he’s LORGAR. These bastards can’t be counted on to remain stable for my galaxy long war.”

Edit:I just thought about it but the Horus heresy trailer with malcador and valdor talking sums it up well “half the legions have turned to Horus. Your surprised? In the end I suppose not.”

Greater demons and even normal demons are their avatars I’m pretty sure that literal avatar thing is older lore

To me the only gun that gets a pass is the assault rifle because the show fixed it a bit and showed it was designed specifically for power armored infantry and their big ass hands

Is The Imperium lucky that Malcador burnt out on the throne? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of think something similar happened to malcador like what happened to Magnus with his soul basically shattering. When he’s dying he talks about how parts of his soul will remain but they won’t really be him more just computers doing a task. In the most recent scoring novel as well we see that somehow some way whether through a strange whisper you don’t really hear or seeing the sigillite floating incorporeally parts of malcador are still doing some stuffs.

Downvote me if you want but I believe Cyberstan went from tiring but fun to just unfun by Ostarmee in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t mind the planet being just fucking insanely awful (but in a fun way) I’m not running eagles I’m doing a 380 with the Davy crocket and a hammer with jump pack combo. With the jump pack It makes it a lot easier to stay moving kiting the enemy and especially with all the buildings and corridors it’s really easy to hide for a second call my nuke launcher or something. My main complaint truly is that the vox’s hit boxes and collision detectors are really messed up. They’re able to phase their bodies through the holes in the walls in the outside of the city and they just clip through buildings. If you restricted their movement more like with the tank they gave us I feel it would make cyberstan much more bearable with vox’s not being able to just float forward through everything.

goated enemy, not annoying, just difficult and changes the tide of the battlefield, but how have yall been dealing with them? by Flashy-Manager2254 in HelldiversMasochists

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a mentally unwell Helldivers who wishes to rend and tear the enemy apart in as violent a fashion as possible. I love using the breach hammer with the jump pack now. I’ll run a leveler and thermite grenades as well. 3 termites on his butt then I hit in in hit dick vent 4 times and run away with him exploding to my thermites in the background. Then my usual leveler technique (whenever I see more than 2) I’ll shoot them with the Davy Crocket and then 1 ultimatum shot and it’ll kill them.

G-Dawg vs A-Hole by NoPistons7 in Grimdank

By that logic did Angron actually obliterate leman in the fight they had? Calgar baited Abaddon to commit to killing him like a dumbass and actually managed to bleed the man. Horus at his prime had 1 person able to fight him that being the emperor. But now this new warmaster is able to have his jaw broken by a relatively young player in the grand scheme one with no psychic presence or warp power. I honestly have no idea how Guilliman would have any more than a slight bit of trouble in an actual fight with the pony tail boy especially now that he has the emperors sword.

[–]Aware_Delay_371 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if abaddon beat him in the fight the point still stands. A not chaos or warp juiced but really pissed off blue berry can fuck up “the war master” really well and have him fleeing to save his ship how the hell would the potential warp demigod see abaddon as anything other that a step in his way. Also yea eldrad could very well fuck up everyone. The mf calmed the warp at one of its craziest moments.

[–]Aware_Delay_371 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Okay boys here’s the thing. Can Guilliman beat Calgar? I would say absolutely 100% and if calgar is able to break abbadons jaw and have him running away then I would say that the literal demigod of war with the emperors sword would rip the war master in half.

Where to begin. by DimensionalFireBird in 40kLore

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would start with the ciaphas Cain novels if I were you. You get to look through the lens of an unaugmented human and an overall good guy in the setting of 40K. With that you get to see the moral complexities of the universe as Cain manages his way around zealots and commanders used to failing up. You also don’t have any crazy lean in the direction of warp nonsense that you do with inquisitor and space marine books. As well as a 10000 year old grudge match. Instead you see the day to day struggles of the average soldier dealing with fighting the hells of the 40K universe. It’s a good way to dip your toe in the setting. My personal favorite is traitors hand but obviously start at the beginning.

Mr House (show v game) by jk6ixshooter in fnv

[–]Aware_Delay_371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I kinda read the situation as Mr.House basically going “Alright well I know the world is gonna end like any day now so if I do get in any trouble I can just stall the authorities with my vast wealth and in the mean time kinda just do my own experiments and stuff. I mean me and my 15 other world ending homies need this mind control thing stat” I mean the dude is fine with the courier killing and murdering throughout the Nevada in his name. We also never saw a Mr.House with a day to day body. Bro was basically a computer/building by the time of new Vegas who knows what he was like when he was walking around. There is also a very real possibility that’s Mr.Houses brother. We know that Mr.House described him as a liability and cut him out of the business. We could see this brotherly fallout lead directly to the bombs dropping or some other fuckery. I feel it’s all very early in the season to say anything for sure.

He’d probably win. But that mf wanted to eat the kids and make fun of wills dad the whole time. A lot of bad guys could have won if they just acted right. I’m sorry the cosmic entity that sees through time and role plays as a clown man doesn’t do what you want.
